Not really a mispackaging so much as a general error, I have a Voodood that came without a card. There is just a generic skylanders card instead.

When you right click on the picture on facebook, then select "View Image", it'll bring up it's url with a .jpg at the end. That's the image url, whereas the one you linked is just to the "theater" page for Facebook. haha It's kind of weird how they do it, but..eh. Zuckerberg.

I think the person could have removed the three characters and replaced them with those. It's hard to believe they would have mispackaged it like that.

I can confirm that any mispackaged Skylanders, are not intentional.

TFB members stated that with how fast they're pumping them out, there are bound to be errors. Who knows, though. Maybe someday, they will be rare.

That's not a factory error, someone just stole Dark Spyro and Ignitor from the 3DS starter pack and then just resealed the pack and possibly just returned it afterwards...if it wasn't the seller that did this. I've seen the exact same thing happen before to two separate packages at a single Toys R Us when I was first getting into Skylanders and alerted an employee to that. Remember that Dark Spyro was not available outside of that pack in the US and Ignitor has been pretty hard to find as a single or in a triple pack up until recently (I just bought the Camo/Ignitor/Warnado pack at Target today in case someone I know needs it), so that's most likely the motivation behind it. ...Toys R Us also had a separate barcode of some sort that they put over the fold at the bottom of the box, but I know that's how they did it...they opened it from the bottom. Also, it's not exactly like the starter packs are selling out anywhere, so it doesn't make sense that they're new ones or errors from the factory. Just my two cents.

if you guys see a skylander missing something, like a jaw, shield, head, broken in the package (but not in an obvious way like a wing that broke off) would you buy them or let someone else buy it? i havent seen any errors so ive never had to think about that.

so, would you buy a messed up skylander just because?

Buy what you can!! If you see a person getting one, tell them; they can open it, or keep it in it's pakege.

I found an Anvil Rain card included with a figurine (forget which one, may have been Zook). The correct card/sticker was in there, it simply had a "bonus" which had no relevance.
