Black Butler is one of my favourite shows.
The episodes aren't very good at the start, but they get better.

Yeah, I suppose I shouldn't be too quick to judge.

Black Butler starts picking up the pace after the first two episodes. The first season of Black Butler is okay. It's the second season that's horrible. The manga is better than the anime.

That just makes me want to punch a cassowary.

Soul Eater is actually pretty good. I hated the art style at first, but then I got used to it.

I watched a lot of Higurashi at the time too, I also honestly had no problems with the amount of gore and nudity in it since nudity is just a natural thing and gore I really do not give a flying **** about.

I saw the first episode of SE and I agree, it does seem pretty good. I love the idea and the characters are pretty cool.
And I like good, gory anime..

... But of course that might change.

From what I've seen of SE (the first three episodes), it's okay, I guess.

I love Wolf's Rain so very much. I discovered it (and FMA) on RaptureTV nearly 7 years ago. The first two anime I've seen that were not only cool but also violent and kinda scary (especially FMA) but Excel Saga and Mezzo DSA didn't hold up that well.

I bought all 4 volumes of Elfen Lied from an advertisement with knowing what it's about. 2 days and 13 episodes later shocked me because that was one show that didn't play nice. A typical clumsy girl that might've been a recurring gag gets her head RIPPED OFF in a bloody fashion within the first 5 minutes!

Wolf's Rain was sad (though never got me depressed that bad) but was also stylish with the art direction and music. I never realized a guy who played the second Black Ranger actually voiced Kiba, Tsume had such an awesome voice and even how Mona Marshall voiced Toboe worked out very well enough (nearly all her other roles were very annoying) and do I have to mention how cool Darcia sounded? The only thing I didn't like was the song "Stray."
