I recently found these counterfeit Skylanders on a suppliers website. Be aware of them as I've been informed these fakes have been spotted in stores like Target. When the customer told an employee of the fakes, the employee lied and said "these are concept toys that were made by Toys For Bob." this is a lie. You can clearly see by all the signs that these are fakes.

I would love to get a complete collection of the fakes, for the sake of comedy.

I've been aware of these fakes for some time now. I've never seen them in stores myself, but I'd like to see them in person, just to get a good laugh out.

And apparently these guys don't have chips in them either so they won't work on portals, wow what a way to screw over someone :/

Looking at the fake toys, they look like cheap rubbish for playing with, I'm sure it comes complete with toxic paint for free!

What country are these appearing in, in target? I doubt these would appear in a target in the us or uk.

I hate to be the Doubting Thomas of this thread, but I have serious doubts about these guys getting into someplace as "big budget" as Target. I'm going to stand by the old internet adage of "pics or it didn't happen." While I'd love for it to be true, Target employees have been entirely too traumatized by the volume of requests for Skylanders over the past few months to not immediately recognize that these weren't the real deal; having several friends that work at my local Target, the fakes wouldn't even make it out to the floor let alone placement on the actual Skylanders display pegs.

Ah sorry just wasn't sure if people knew about them because I looked online and found no threads about it.

A fellow Skylander player told me that she found them in one Target store. I really believe she is telling the truth. I've requested for a photo next time she goes in but at the moment all we can do is wait.

Yeah there's no chip in them so you can imagine a kid's disappointment when they put this 'rare variant' on the portal and nothing happens. :/ I'd still like to see them in real life just for laughs.
