Ok I just need a simple answer. Will the dark spyro be in a single packninthe US? He is th only one I am missing and my GameStop doesn't take used skylanders.

i dont think hes gonna come in single pack for america very soon. id check amazon, they have the best prices ive seen for him.

Or you can watch for a sale on the 3ds starter packs. Just a few weeks ago, Toys "R" Us had them on sale for $35...considering you could trade in or sell the other parts you don't want...that would def be worth it, if you want it that bad.

I'd say no..not right now. Probably around the time Giants is out, they'll sell singles of him since they'll probably stop selling the 3DS pack regularly. (although, maybe not..but if they're gonna do that they'll do it when they have the new game to focus on)

I'd expect it to be for sale before Giants comes out. All of the Season 1 toys will have to make way for Season 2.

I highly doubt it, which is why I went ahead and bought one from a seller in Germany. I got a pretty good deal on mine (I only got mine for Collector's purposes though) since I have Dark spyro already.

He is becoming more available by the day on ebay and his price/worth has dropped a fair bit. So you may wanna try that instead of chancing never getting it in stores cus I don't see it happening anytime soon. Thats why I went ahead and got one on ebay.

Ok, I will not buy him from eBay but possibly amazon. I just have to see what the best deal is.

I've found some offers on ebay. they are in the single pack boxes!

I can see Dark Spyro coming to the USA in a Single Pack soon, I don't see any reason why it's not, maybe the same reason normal Spyro, Gill Grunt and Trigger Happy are not, but then again Ignitor and Stealth Elf are single packs, so honestly it makes no sense. If Dark Spyro comes to the USA in a Single Pack, I can also see Spyro, Gill Grunt and Trigger Happy following the same path, it would be a great idea for collectors and people who own the 3DS version and don't want to buy the Console\PC version.

When TFB filed their list of UPC's for products there was an additional single pack UPC filed. It was filed under the name reserved character. All other characters in the game files have been accounted for. It is possible that they saved this UPC specifically for a dark spyro single. Most of the other once exclusives are now common everywhere it makes sense TFB may lift the exclusivity on Dark Spyro on the 3DS as well. This is just speculation but it is possible even if I do not think it will happen.

It would be awesome if it were an exclusive in the US. That means it would come in its own case of 6 and not be too much of a pain in the *** to find.

That's how we feel. I'm outside the US and can't find any exclusives.

Hopefully they'll all be released after the last wave, everywhere.

Yeah I hope it is released here. I have been looking at prices and I don't want pay too much money for him. If I have a chance I might check GameStops around me, BUT none of them have anything and mine, like I said before doesn't take used ones! I've looked on eBay and it's just not the price I want, plus I don't really trust eBay that much.

Edit: ok what are the chance that I will find him used at GameStop?

Not without buying him from someone on eBay who imported him from outside of the US. The only Dark Spyro's that I've ever seen evidence of originating inside the US (other than the one packed into the 3DS starter) have been mispacked errors. If you'd found a single pack Dark Spyro locally on a shelf, you'd have been bragging to high heaven long before now and, as we live within the same area, I'm pretty sure I'd have either seen one in a store or on CL long ago. I used to hunt several stores every day and see tons of local scalper ads for everything I wasn't able to find in stores, including variants. I apologize for being the Doubting Thomas here, but as I've stated above, I've got solid reasons.
