Oh, it doesn't look as good as I thought it would from photos of it inside packaging. Is that slight airbrushing I see on the wings and tail? I thought it was entirely clear for better light transmission throughout the piece when placed on the portal and upon closer inspection, the figure looks to be made of the same type of cloudy plastic as Blue Bash...kind of disappointing.

Hmm. Wings look pretty cool to me. It looks like a Cynder frozen in ice..that's pretty cool.

You're a braver man than I. I'm keeping them in the box unless I get another one of them..like I did with Blue Bash.

spykotek, no airbrushing that is just the way the light has bounced back off the dark background (background is actually black but washed out by the flash)

All those poor Skylanders trapped in boxes. Its nice that someone is freeing them~

that cynder is beautiful... the toy fair one is crap compared to the crystal.

i would rebuy all 32 figures if they made crystal versions.
ive never seen a variant in my entire time searching for skylanders, and ive helped open cases and cases at stores, most of the sales people i talked to who stock the stuff says theyve never see them either. what form of black magic are people using to obtain these? (besides ebay)

The only varient I want is a gold Flameslinger. (because he is my fave skylander)

Yes. Some people have sold clears from the US, as well as glow in the darks.

I agree, the variances are way to rare.

Couldn't disagree more. Metallic Cynder is like a work of art with the way lighting can affect how it appears (plus the eyes are a different color - which is unfortunately unique with the variants). Crystal Cynder is better than the silver or gold or glow- in- the- dark variants, but it still looks cheaply made when compared to Metallic Cynder.
