I stopped at TRU today. They had individual Zook, L.Rod, Ignitor, along with all of the others. No triple-packs, but the clerk said they had some of the new packs yesterday. I guess I missed out.

I called EB, apparently I missed the new triple-packs by about half an hour. I was actually near it at opening, but I assumed they wouldn't have them right at opening, so I decided to wait.

God some of these sales people are so full of it. EB games in the area had the 3 pack before I called yesterday but where already sold out and instead of telling me that they just said they had nothing.

And the person at Toys r us was totally lying about holding stock until the 24th although they don't have the figures yet from the sounds of it

Aargh! TRU in Vaughan said they got four triple packs yesterday! I went on both Tuesday and Today (their normal shipping days) and they got them yesterday. *sigh*

They said they were gone in minutes... you literally had to have be there when they were opening the boxes.

Well... we know they are hitting the shelves here now.

No Whamshells though...

I just scored the Camo/Ignitor/Warnado 3 pack at a Best Buy in Ontario. The clerk said they just came in about 3 PM EDT so we were really lucky. They had a ton of other assorted 3 packs and a bunch of Wave 4 and 5 singles. However no Wham-Shell. The hunt is still on.

Okay,I can't stand the wait for wham shell in Canada!I'm going to the U.S. tomorrow.Hopefully I can find a wham shell!

Volcanic Vault in Canada. Has anybody ever got one or is this a US exclusive? Where and how can you buy one?

@Krisiun: It's not US exclusive, it was also available from GAME/Gamestation. If I were you, I might try contacting Best Buy or Future Shop to see if they may have a promotion on it.

Think I'll check TRU tomorrow morning for anything new or the Legendary 3 pack. If nothing else I might pick up a spare figure to repaint for fun.

I was in walmart. I went to the electronic section saw some skylanders starter pack(console and handled) Sadly it have just some of the same three packs

@sykotek. Thanks for the info. I just bought a bunch of figures at Best Buy but I think to get a Volcanic Vault I need to buy a starter pack. I guess I'll head over there and see if they could part with one for other types of purchases.

Heh, eerie. I was just about to make a YouTube video to explain a bit about the Volcanic Vault. Anyway, you had to have bought your Starter Pack from Best Buy, back when the game first came out last year. They were included in the box. In Canada.
I read in another thread that they were going to make a comeback though.

Went by Toys 'r' Us in Vaughan during lunch and a shipment arrived. When I asked if they had any Skylanders in there I was asked which one I wanted. When I told them, one of the sales clerk asks "are we allowed to sell them?" I mentioned that they had apparently sold 4 on Wednesday. The other guy says, "give it to him" and she pulled it out. She said she found it down there about an hour ago. Looks like someone was trying to hold it... but she said they're not allowed to do that so she would sell it to me. SCORE!

There may have been more in the new shipment... I didn't stick around to check. I might pass by again on my way back to see if they received any Whamshells but I doubt it.

Still nothing new for me. My TRU had it's shipment on Wednesday instead of Friday this week. Boo.
At least it gave me a bit of time to play with my current figs. I finally got my Clockwork Dragon path completed. I still think the Master Blaster path is better for Drobot, but the Clockwork is interesting too.
I still need to get more time sunk with Lightning Rod.

I've been able to finally get L-Trigger Happy last week, and Double Trouble the week before.

Still no sign of Cynder, and I've been unable to find the Empire of Ice pack. So I don't even think about the other releases...

Check ebgames.ca regularly for some of the singles. They were getting stock frequently. The figures sell out quickly but they seem to restock fairly often as well. I had three sent to me (Chop Chop, Drill Sergeant, and Double Trouble)... no shipping cost and I had them in two days. Cynder is one of the figures listed there as well.

The toysrus.ca website is just messed up. Today they'll show 6 items (all out of stock), then 4 items the next day (still out of stock), then nothing the next, followed by another 5 out of stock items... all different each time as well.

I wish they would just show what they sell regardless of whether they are sold out...

Toys Toys Toys carries some really cool stuff... lots of stuff that's hard or impossible to find up here. Some of the stuff seems to come from American stores (you'll often find stuff marked "Only at Target")... while other stuff seems to be snatched from the Toys'r'Us down the hall (likewise marked "Only at Toys'r'Us").

You do pay a price for that cool and rare stuff though... they're very expensive even though every single item is marked with a normal and "sale" price. Make sure what you are buying isn't available at Toys'r'Us or you will certainly be paying more.

They were selling Legendary Trigger Happys recently for $24.99... again marked "Only at Toys'r'Us" (covered with a white sticker). After one weekend event at TRU where I saw the shelves cleared of everything but a dozen-or-so Drill Sergeants... suddenly TTT had a bunch of Drill Sergeants for sale. Coincidence?

I appreciate what they offer... but it doesn't seem right that they are buying and reselling exclusive (and not exclusive) stuff, at significantly marked up prices, from a store that is literally down the hall.

Sure he is. I played with him and went right through level 10, I was unable to stop playing with him lol. He is quite powerful!

Not the one in Vaugnan mills but I've been to a few that all over price skylanders.

I really hope Wham Shell shows up here this week, although I am a little disappointed that there seems to be a glitch with the final accolaid on the PS3/XBOX versions... I am going ot be choked if I waited this long to still not see that glorious 100% completion on the game lol.

I was surprised that I didn't see another triple pack after getting the one from EB... usually I see them show up in bulk all over the place, but is seems like maybe 10-15 showed up across Calgary.

Anybody seen BOOMER lately in a retail store? It seems that certain Wave 1 guys like Boomer, Prism Break and Voodood are now scarce, while others like Drobot and Bash are everywhere by the thousands.

I'm baffled by Activision's distribution methods.

Well, Boomer was everywhere in the first weeks/months. I still see him around often.

Yes he was everywhere at first but I haven't seen one for a couple of months now in Ontario.

I don't have Boomer the only time that I saw him is when I had to pick Flameslinger or Boomer and I picked Flameslinger never saw Boomer ever since

the wall at EB was completely bare when I strolled by today at lunch, so not getting my hopes up for this week.

As for Boomer, he is one that I see the least out of the old releases. I used to see Voodood a lot, but I don't know that I have ever seen Prism Break in a single pack.

Well, when they released L-Trigger Happy, they sold all of them and it took like over a month, maybe 2, to get back a shipment...
