Okay first Contest:

Create your own Skylander Contest!
I know I know toywiz did it as well, but I love seeing stuff like this.

Anyway, No art work is necessary but it is appreciated. Even if you draw like crap. I'm not judging on the quality of your art, but how hard you try.

What you are doing is creating your own Skylander and explaining him. Try to do this similar to how the game does it:

List his name, Health, Speed, Armor and Critical Hit.

His element. Also give him some powers as well, you don't have to invent two separate paths or all his powers, but list what some of his attacks would be like, to give us an idea.

1st prize is a Wham Shell
2nd Prize is an Ignitor

Both characters are new in box and have 12K gold!

This contest is open to everyone. However if you don't feel like winning (you already have one) but would like to help me judge shoot me a PM.

Just traded today to get my extra gill grunt with fixins' and the Volcanic Vault I missed out on!

I also had a few other members help me out with other various things, like tips and what not.

I just wanted to say thanks to those who helped me (You know who you are) and the community in general!

As a way of thanks I have a couple of the harder to get guys I want to give away as prizes. I'll let people know what the contests are in a few days. If you guys have an ideas for some fun ones, post them up!

I was one of those people who couldn't find the wave 5 guys for the life of me, and now I'm in position to help others, so I will. Coulda scalped them, sure but I didn't want to be a douche to fellow fans!

To make the contests even cooler, each guy will be pre loaded with 12K in gold. That's enough to buy all his/her upgrades if you have all 10 blue butterflies!

Nice to see that you finally found them near you. I'm still having no luck at all with finding Camo & Warnado. All they seem to keep restocking here is the older stuff.

Yeah eventually I made a friend at one of the Walmarts, she let me go through their extra stock of stuff they are holding till shelf space fills out. They had about 40 cases, each holds about 4 singles, so they had a lot of stuff (It is a pretty big super walmart) she said it was sad, the employees had ripped through most of them and take the newer guys and some gold and silvers. However they had a few boxes that were not open yet.

40 cases?!?! That is an absolutely crazy amount of Skylanders. The Walmart & super Walmart stores here seem to get 2-3 cases at the most.

Yeah they have been stock piling for a while it seems. 40 or so cases is around 160 skylanders... it took me a while to go through them.

Sky you still looking for for The Walmart Exclusive of Drill and the Target Whirl? They each have their respective exclusive sticker.

I got someone who wanted to buy them from me but I haven't heard from them in a week.

Technically all you need is 8 to do everything in the game.

each case comes with six individual skylanders in it so it would in fact be more around the 240 mark, where i work i put out over 300 yesterday alone, and today weve got another 198 coming in and 120 triple packs

What about, for an idea, you show pictures of skylanders, and you have to match them up to some of their chants. If you go from there, see what you can come up with.

Yeah but in New Zealand the stores never stock the triple packs I plan to buy I want to be minimal. Eruptor/Bash/Chop Chop and then Warnado/Camo/Ignitior

Actually, only a select few characters speak english in the game, such as Spyro, Gill Grunt (once in a while) Trigger Happy (although only one word) and a few others, such as Hex. So it'd be hard. I'm going to be keeping an eye on this as I really need Camo, Warnado, and Wham-Shell, and any of them would be cool.

My target had 20 of those boxes and all of them had Drobot Whirlwind Stump Smash and Zap!

Will this contest be open to non-US residents? I'm in the UK and since Camo and Warnado are not out here I would like to enter if it's something I can actually do (e.g. not a painting/art contest) but I understand if you won't post here for cost reasons.

I'll put it out there - I say allow non-US residents to enter and if any win then i will start up a collection. I reckon amongst all forum members, we can cover the shipping cost to help.

Yes its open to all residents, unless you live in a place where it costs $40 to ship to you, then we might have to figure something out. Now to think up cool contests! I don't think it will be art based, because ToyWiz is doing that ATM.

I'm glad it's not Art Related, 'cause i'd have no chance of winning. Maybe whatever the Competition is, it could be a randomized winner, using like the 'names-in-a-hat' sorta thing.

I got plenty of Wham Shells so a Name in the hat thing might work for one of them!

Also noticed you had two of Camo's and Warnado's, you could make a name-out-of-a-hat competition for either both in the same competition, seperates, or in a bundle with others.

Maybe you could do a mixture of contests. Such as one of each character for the "name-out-of-a-hat" and the others for a different contest?

Dont do the hat thing I have no luck with those or art contests!
