Wow, that is the first sighting I have heard of a Wham Shell at Walmart!! Where do you live?

I live in St. Louis, Missouri.

Can somebody please put the Wham Shell GameStop page here? When I type in Wham Shell at game stop it just redirects me to the big skylanders page.

Lol Exactly. Although speaking of hard to find, I've yet to see a Single Pack Zook, Lightning Rod, or Ignitor since 3/21. I've been seeing a lot of Single Pack Wrecking Ball and Bash, though.

Has anyone who preordered Wham Shell from Amazon heard anything from Amazon yet? I'm thinking we should start hearing from Amazon soon since Wham Shell is seeming to be more and more out there in the market.

I have seen quite a few Zook and a couple Lighting Rod single packs around here lately. I'm in Northwest Ohio btw.

This isn't the first Wham-Shell Walmart sighting. I bought him from a Walmart in north Georgia two days ago. Finally got them all!

...and for the record, I STILL don't believe that guy who said best buy had him a week ago in Va. No pics, no dice.

Not true. Best Buy was one of the 1st, if not the 1st, places to get Empire of Ice.

Perhaps in your city. However, in my city, Walmart got those in first. Best Buy and Gamestop were second. Toys R Us got them last.

lol and here in sunny New Mexico Gamestop got E.O.I. first...go figure...stupid random distribution.

Exactly. Hopefully, if Activision or TFB were smart, they would come at E3 and say -

"Ladies and Gentlemen. We are going to allow for Giants figures to be preordered. Each new wave of Skylanders will have a hard street date, allowing stores like Best Buy and Gamestop to accept preorders weeks and months in advance."

That would instill faith back in any customers Activision/TFB lost during this very stressing hunt.

I can't lie. The first thing I did, when I picked my two Whams up from the post office, was flip Wham the bird and screamed, "HAHA! **** YOU ACTIVISION!"

Then I took a deep breath, and realized the most stressing hunt for a toy I had ever endured, was over. However, for the past couple of months, I had heard everything from "I threw my game in the trash. I am done supporting this franchise," to, "I sold my game on Craigslist because I couldn't find figures. I won't fall for it again." People threw whatever collections they had, on Ebay, or are now trading them into Gamestop.

One of my local Gamestops, has a near complete collection, used. The only ones missing, are Wham Shell, Camo, and Warnado. Why? Because people got tired of the fabricated lies of shortage issues, or how hard it was to find the newest character. Does anyone find it awfully ironic, that they can mass ship so many Skylanders, that stores won't run out now, but somehow, they could't just two months ago? What they did to mass produce now, they could have done back then. Only the gullible will believe corporate PR or try and defend it.

If they want people to stay interested, they need to flood the market with Giants figures, make each new wave contain more than just one of each new Skylander for that wave, and allow for preorders, so people can not hassle themselves with wasting gas. If not, then it's like I said, Activision will eventually shoot themselves in the foot. Then all of these variants, won't be worth more than 10-20 bucks... if that.

FYI- a few minutes ago Gamestop had Wham Shell to order...but only if it is on your wish list. You could add it to the wish list then purchase. It doesn't come up in the search unless you use the link. above

Wow, Thanks guys! I was kinda giving up hope... These last three have just been a pain. Its to the point where hunting isn't fun...

I agree it would solve all the problems if they let you pre order all skylanders in advance of the release date. I wouldnt even mind if it took a week or 2 to ship to my house after release date bypassing the money on gas and time looking is well worth it.

I wonder if you'll be able to do that with giants....if not I'll probably preorder the game and head to walmart midnight of release

I call every gamestop in a hundred mile radius twice a week, and somehow, I missed the two Wham-Shells that came in for them on Monday. I spoke to a really nice GS manager at a store about forty miles away who actually recommended I come here, and also said that I should start bugging the crap out of Kmarts until I find one. The Kmart near his store told me that they did get a whole big order of Wham-Shells and Warnados on Monday morning that didn't sell all the way out until Tuesday night. He advised that they get shipments on Mondays and Fridays and to keep on trying. *sigh*

Did you order it from gamestop? If so, I ordered mine the same way (I believe I ordered mine on friday or monday, can't remember) but they just now have filled the order and shipped it. So keeping my fingers crossed for you!

Yes, it was from GameStop, I just checked again and the status of the order is still "Open". Now I'm sorry I cancelled my pre-order from Amazon, but I would guess GameStop will ultimately honor their orders.

That's weird I ordered my Whamshell on monday april 23 and it shipped on the 24th, and I had basic shipping.

Some Wham Shells came in to our GameStop (Denton, TX on University) today. Only bought one, so I could cancel the Amazon order. Should be two or three left on the shelf, and potentially more in the back, if anyone is close and/or interested.

I wouldn't worry just yet, they seem to be filling them. Keeping my fingers crossed for you. (Gamestop has been really good about filling my orders that I put in.)

Trust me...been all over VA for weeks and weeks and it wasnt until today that I found Camo and Warnado! Now mind this is Northern VA but I have me, my relatives, and my girlfriend check the Skylander's section at every participating store.

Asked numerous Gamestops/Best Buys and no Wham Shell.
