Yeah, that's the worst thing about those super-rare re-paints. At least it makes not having them a bit easier to handle.

i dont agree i would be pretty upset if the repaints looked different in game. it would make me want to actually pay the criminal prices.

Yeah, that would suck. Dark Spyro and the Legendaries could have used their own moves, but whatever.


Btw, is anyone here going to Fan Expo Vancouver this weekend? I'm planning to go. Should be fun.

I'd say slim to none... but that being said, I could see them being released with Giants later this year. Would make sense ot me at least. Let people buy the older characters without having to get the portal/previous game.

I think there's a pretty good chance. There's not going to be a whole lot else to sell for the last few months before Giants starts it all over again.

For anyone that missed out on Legendary Trigger Happy... he will be at TRU tomorrow! Talked to another TRU location and they confirmed they are holding back shipment for tomorrow's flyer. They can confirm that Legendary Trigger Happy will be in but they are unsure of what the other characters will be. Here is hoping for some luck that Camo, Warnado & maybe Wham Shell will be there!

Sidebar: Since we are all (im)patiently waiting to finish our sets, what other games are keeping you busy? I was playing a lot of Skyrim before the recent releases, and in the recent lull I have been playing NHL12 a bit before NHL13 comes out. I also downloaded Journey off of PSN... it was really short, but a very cool game none the less. If you want something that is unique and simple, I highly recommend it.

Checked out the usual places today. TRU, BB, EB and WM. Everybody had a ton of Drobot and Bash. Only Wal-mart had some Zook, LR and Ignitor. No sign at all of Wave 5.

well i did not find him i know he came out but i was taking a break from the hunt when he came out [ i know worst time ever for a break] so i missed him then and he has not been in stores since so i eventually went ot the us and they had hundreds

Was at the TRU in Vaughan... and the shelves were empty except for maybe two Drobots. I should have taken a picture because a week ago it was just Drobot after Drobot. They must have had 50 of them on the wall and nothing else. I'm surprised they all sold.

Anyway, the guy there (who has been very helpful) confirmed that they will have Legendary Trigger Happy on hand but no Legendary Three Packs. That surprised me. He also mentioned that there would be no Sunburn packs. I asked about Camo and the rest of the final three and nope... still a no show.

They normally get their shipments on Thursday... and they probably did. They've most likely held everything back (old and new) for tomorrow's event.

Sunburn/Dragon's Peak was released on a Friday and they knew exactly how many they had the day before... so I'm trusting that they've already gone through the shipment and know what they've got. I don't need anything but the last three, but I might swing by on my way to work just to see.

Speaking of Sunburn/Dragon's Peak... I have yet to see it on the shelves again since that first day. As others have said, what's the point of having an exclusive if you can't deliver?

I wonder if that's the same L-Trigger shipment I overheard TRU management talking about. That was a couple weeks ago.

As for other games, I've been playing some Arkham Asylum. I FINALLY got around to starting it! Damn you, backlog. I also just bought Rayman Origins for $19.99 from Best Buy a day ago. Best price I've seen for it new.

I thought this was supposed to be the event that brough out all of the Legendaries again. I can't say that somewhere deep inside I'm not a wee bit happy considering I bought the three pack off someone only a week ago.

Arkham Asylum was an AMAZING game! Everything from the gameplay to the graphics to the voice acting was just top notch. I loved that game. It also made GREAT use of 3D...

My son and I also had a blast with Rayman Origins... another gorgeous game that was just a lot of fun. An EB sales guy recommended it for us. Those treasure chest challenges can be hair-pulling difficult though.

legendary trigger happy is on toysrus.ca now. along with a few other things including empire of ice.

finally scored my Zook at Best Buy at the Scarb Town Centre. Happy day for sure. There was only one and i had to dig thru a hundred of them to find it but tada!!!

pretty lack-luster then... I still need L.Trigger Happy, but I was really hoping to see the final 3 as well. I don't understand why they have to release these at different times between Canada and the US... we're on the same bloody continent ffs... a day or two is understandable depending on where the warehouse is, but 2+ weeks is unacceptable.

I do agree 100% as well it doesn't seem fair that Canada has to wait for so much longer it doesn't make much sense. However it doesn't bother me much because I'd prefer to spread out my purchases, However I feel I can't do that either because of have how sparse these are so in the end I lose anyway.

Waste of time today. Nothing but the same old wall of L-Trigger Happy, Drobot, and friends.

I went there at opening. There were two other people and they just bought standard stuff like Flameslinger. I don't even know why they waited until today when those have been at every store for weeks now.

I still havnt seen any sign of wave 5 in Ottawa im gonna call my local ebgames tommorow but Ill be in Oshawa have to leave at 5a.m. (funeral) so Im gonna check a couple stores there before I head home

Well i just missed out on something REALLY BIG.I called walmart and they said they had the final three in stock less than 10 mins. ago!I asked them and they said they sold out in the first 5 mins.!.....Well,at least we know they're out. :/
