But seariously we get Legendary trigger happy first but then the get him 1 week later.
But they get everything else first waaay before we do.

I think this is the first time I have actually been discouraged with attempting to find them. Usually I start looking and within a day or two they show up. I've been looking for a week now and still nothing. I am starting to think that Activision forgot about Canada lol.

Hopefully when they do show up here, they will show up with Wham Shell

there was one guy here in toronto who did score a warnado and camo i think, and he put up an ad on a website asking an INSANE amount of cash for them...like holy smokes. idk about u guys, but i refuse to pay ridiculous prices these ppl are asking

yeah, I am not ever going to pay scalper prices for things. Anything more than Retail (or retail plus shipping if I just can't find it locally) is crazy. It is a game... I am not going to spend more money on it than I absolutely have to.

I agree I got most of my stuff day 1, even whirlwind (folks live in states). I have not had to hunt very much for anything thnx to the forums and I have gotten everything within the first few days of it hitting canada. All of it from the stores shelves ,no online purchases or kijiji, or ebay.

The way I hunt for them is I check the forums to see if anything is out (canada or states), then I keep an eye out here for news and I look at kijiji posting for local and ebay.ca for any canada posting. Then if I see it localy I drive to the stores and check. If I see it on ebay and its another province I call around.

I agree. There shouldn't be any need for scalpers for the regular figures. I eventually payed a little extra for the Legendaries because it just wasn't worth my time hunting these down when their releases were so rare and so random. Of course, now that I bought them TRU may be re-releasing them *sigh*.

I managed to get them all in about three weeks. I learned of a few initial releases from TRU, and ordered a couple from ebgames.ca with free shipping. For the rest I just visited TRU during my lunch on Tuesdays and Thursdays when I knew they received new shipments.

I went to two Saturday morning events. One was for Dragons Peak (TRU had 90 that day) and I don't know what the other was for because that was my first time buying characters so I had no idea what was new or old... I just wanted whatever I could get my hands on.

Just visited the local EB Games at lunch and no word on shipements. Shelves are pretty much bare again for them, so lots of people still buying up waves1-3, just not as quickly as before.

Anybody find anything interesting at Toys R Us this week? Been checking Walmarts and only found a couple Drobots.

my son and i are really enjoying LR...hes oneof our top 2 fav level 10's we have. wed love to enjoy zook as well if we could find one

Yeah, that's probably the one I'm picking as well. The cloud cover sounds like an interesting alternative, but it's obviously meant for defense.

i did go back...no zook

local EB got in a shipment of older stuff again. More Zook's and such. Had a couple 3-packs I hadn't seen in a while as well as Ignitor, but that was about it.

Just letting you know that the Best Buy in the NE of Calgary has a bunch of guys in stock,
including some Lightning Rod, Zook and Ignitor. They are in the back in the video game section though, not with the display of figures that are by the cashiers. Have a good one!

Honestly? Just buy the whole thing. You can probably easily sell Ignitor and Stealth Elf, as well as the game (and portal if you don't want it) somewhere. It's not worth it to spend $30-$40 on just that on ebay, and then for a bit more you can get everything else. So just buy everything.

This probably doesn't mean anything but... A TRU manager told me today that they are getting a shipment of skylanders on Friday (? wonder if anything to do with flyer again). They will probably be old ones but maybe that will be our finally lucky day!?

Yeah, I was a little shocked to see so many figures at Best Buy today. They're usually sold out. I'd have to say that Ignitor is proving to be the most difficult to find for Wave 4.
Also, on the topic of the 3DS game, I agree that it's worth picking up. The portal is the best thing about it since it has a USB port, which the PS3 version did not.

I've got Legendaries of Chop and Bash, but I don't have the originals yet...

i dont have any legendaries...have never seen any at the stores

it wouldve been nice if they appreared in the game as they do in the legendary figures. the colors are cool on the legendaries. a clear blue bash would look awesome on a plasma lol
