Anyone who hasn't gotten a chance to pick up the Legendary 3 pack go to TRU this Wednesday, as there will be an event for the Legendary Triple Pack.

My store got 24(!!) boxes in of the Legendary Triple Pack. More than enough for people who didn't get a chance to snag. Probably going to put a 1 per guest rule.

will they be on sale?

last time i went to one of these they had a bunch of the others i needed in stock also, i wonder could there be some surprise wham shells at this?

TRU gets a big special finger from me for this stupid event. Why are we waiting in line to buy something that half of everyone has? Just stick em on the shelves and put a limit to 1 per customer on them. We don't need to stand in line for this. Do your really think 50 people will show up to buy this? I highly doubt it. TRU is gonna have to change this sales tactic or a lot of people will avoid their store altogether

I'm actually going to suggest to management that my store holds ANY of the newer figures such as Lightning Rod, Zook, Camo, Warnado, etc for this event because a lot of the customers around here already have the Legendary pack. Still some who don't though.

I want to also add. Do you remember the Blue Bash event? My store got about 15 people who showed up at store opening for it. Fewer are waiting for Legendary 3 pack. I have money that they don't sell out of this on day one of the "re-release" of this...

My store had over 30 people and we only had 9 Blue Bashes. That was fun.

They won't sell out, but they won't sit there either.

Point is...they didn't need to make an event for this. They could have just released them normally. Everything is an event to them. It's fake hype. Sure, we need them. But do you expect it to be a crazy mad dash for em? Look at Ltrigg...he's lonely on the shelves now...they made a big deal about him...same will happen with the legendary set. They will flood the market...and they'll rot on the shelves kinda like triggy

Well hopefully, like with the other two events, they will send my store some of the newer figures like Camo and Warnado. I know they are out, just got Warnado at a Gamestop 5 minutes away from my store.

I knew that they were going to do this...I'm skipping it, I already have one and I don't need a second one (I was going to purchase another to keep a boxed version but it's not worth an extra trip).

Yeah manager at my Store says they are not expecting Camo Warnado or Whamshell for a while.

A weird story on Warnado and Camo. A friend in Kentucky says they say Warnado and Camo in person at TRU as a sneak peek. I believe they have a room where they have placed these figures. That or the employees never distributed the small wave they got in and they were purchased by employees. I can speculate all day on this. But I believe TRU is holding any stock they get of this at the demand of corporate for one final event. Whatever their plan is. I hope it backfires and everyone buys their figures before TRU even gets their first batch in.

The legendary three pack is available online on the tru website. I just got my email notification and purchased it.

Agreed! Why an event for the three pack. I mean really now!

Hahaha true! It is another blunder. The reason why LTH is all over the place is because they keep having events while the item is being sold on their site. My blog has been tracking the stock of the LTH since yesterday and they still have it in stock. My opinion is that everyone has had enough of it.

You know legendarys come in single packs too, thats how I got my legendarys when I went to TRU.

They don't come in single packs AJ. I've never seen them in anything but the Triple. and ^Spyrotek your animated gif looks like Ken mixed wit Ryu mixed with Chun Li...and it creeps me the heck out! lol

No, Im talking about all four and I just bought them pretty recently so it could be something new, I also am wondering why my TRU never got a shipment of blue bash at all.

The manager at my TRU just went through all the boxes for me (Wish I could get a friend at Walmart!) and he found 0 Warnado and Camos. He went to the computer and said it looks like hes not getting them in until June.

It's a limited release figure. That's why they are only sending between 6 and 18 to each store. They'll probably do the same in June, and that will be it for Blue Bash.

I know. TRU doesn't have to do another skylander event for something being released again for the third freaking time. Watch they will do a whole wave 5 event too!

Maybe they will do a L-triggerhappy half off event, LoL

Hopefully they will be able to push off all of the extra old waves so they can bring out the Wave 4 & 5's.

I prefer it this way. If it wasn't for the last TRU event, I'd still be hunting for Zook, Dragons Peak and Lightning Rod.

I prefer getting up early one morning for a sure thing versus making all these dang trips to stores and missing out every time.

TRU isn't a sure thing. At least, not in the metro Atlanta area. I was first in line on 3/21 when DP, Lightning Rod, Ignitor, and Zook came out and TRU didn't have any of them. And, that's how it was for numerous stores throughout the city.

Same for my TRU with Blue bash...

My store has 3 shopping carts FULL o the Legendary Triple Pack waiting for Wednesday. I know one particular mom who keeps asking me about them. She'll be happy.

One of our local TRU (Schaumburg, IL) got 75 Dragon's Peak and Blue Bash's on April 1st. Unfortunately, we missed the cut. They did give us a raincheck for the Blue Bash, which were also limited, but I was told that the Blue Bash will not be available until June. We got Dragon's Peak from the same TRU about 4 days later...they had 2 of them just sitting on the shelf!!

Incidentally, TRU.com no longer has the Legendary Triple Pack available for shipping. It is now only available in stores.

I still can't fathom why they'd want to do it on a Wednesday. Kids are in school, people are at work. Seems like they WANT scalpers to buy them.

I'm not making the 60 mile round trip to TRU anymore. A joke on 3/21, plenty of DP on next event but who cares as it was online for DAYS prior. B Bash, they had 12 and I arrived 15 min late because I was already disgruntled - nada. Pretty much done with TRU at this point.

Okey dokey. Super Secret Event. Can't wait to see how super secret it is. Would be awesome if they had single packs of the Legendarys instead of the 3 pack.

I will give it a check tomorrow. Already got the legendary three pack. How do you get on there email list for skylanders events?

i think its for reward members they usually send emails for all special events
