Checked my Bestbuys here in NW Ohio and they already sold out of the Vv, all they had were T-shirts that rung up for $50.

My bestbuy has 200 skylanders and hasnt sold one in 2 weeks. Its whirlwind, drill, stump, stealth, drobot, eruptor, chop, wrecking ball and I think thats it. I posted a pic of the skylanders section at my store but yet again ypu have to go flickr.com and search people "carnyewest" to see them. I cant figure out how to post small pics here. Best buy shouldnt be sold out of VV bc it doesnt go on sale until tomorrow.

I went into my best buy and talked to the manager about the vv and he just gave me one. Now all I need is Wham-Shell and all complete.

Another note I would like to share. I had to call activision on a glitch with Warnado in the universe beta and he needed up telling me that I was very lucky that I got Warnado and camo because activision has not officailly released them yet.

Camo and Warnado not officially released??! They must be pulling your leg. I've been getting news alerts with each site posting a press release article about the release of the 3 figures after the first week we saw camo and warnado on eBay. So if what you are saying is true then almost all those blog/sites were lying which I find hard to believe.

I just called and had my issue escalated. They have never heard of this. I entered my camo web code it unlocked camo but my pc froze while the letters above the figures head were flipping around (like they do for every figure entered in skylanders universe). So I rebooted and it showed locked still. I reenter the code and it says This code is cureenrly in use by another portal master. They r sending me a new code but if the code doesnt link to my new figure then they will have to send me another camo completely.

Ive heard this happen to someone else too for Camo and it happened to me with healing elixir.

I guess Im buying figures I have so Ill sell them to you guys for equal price.

If you're getting it from Activision Assist, then you'll probably get Camo and the webcode, since the old webcode is tied to the other figure.

Although, unless you're like updating it or something, there's not much of a need to have a webcode directly linked to a character. (What I mean is that you could have 2 Camos, one you registered, but it..lets say got blown up. But you still have a Camo, and you still have a Camo registered on Universe)

Have you tried it on the portal? I'd guess it should unlock that way.

My local Best Buy has been one of the worst places in town for Skylander merchandise availability, even now that most places have the toys back in stock.

Why wouldn't you just use the portal?

Bad news is that a majority of Best Buys seem to be closed on Sunday. wtf?

I found one locally that I'm about to head out to in a few hours. That's right. It doesn't even open till 11am....

The portal works with Camo. I unlocked it just fine via the portal 2 Thursdays ago.

Warnado, however, locks up after you hit "Yes," when asked if you want to register Warnado. To fix that, you have to go to the lair and enter the webcode, which will then unlock him. Once unlocked, then you can put Warnado on the portal, or Camo, should you want to swap between the two.

Warnado worked for me but when im in the lair and place camo on tge portal it shows his little video and never goes back to the lair.

Just bought some figures and got Volcanic Vault! Mine didn't have it out with the skylanders (which was only a small stand in the middle of the store) so I asked and they had them in a case by the video game section (like a drawer thing)

So make sure you ask about it!

I bought $50 dollars worth of Skylanders and got two Volcanic Vaults. Nothing I really needed, but it was worth it for the Vaults.

Same thing, Zook. Except, for me, I had bought 5 characters for my neighbor across the street last week, and he pays me back.

So, I took the receipt up there, had them adjust it for the promotion, but I had to buy one more Skylander. So, I bought a Sonic Boom for my 2 (about to be 3) year old. She now has 11 Skylanders herself, and loves switching the characters.

In anycase, walked out with 2 Vaults. I may actually register these to my oldest daughter and son's accounts.

OH, SNAP! I forgot to call it what it really is. I was hoarding more vaults. Had to add that for any impending superiority complexes.

Just to get this straight, those of you who are talking about Camo/Warnado not working, you're talking about the PC game, correct? No one has been having issues w consoles? Specifically, XBox 360?

No. They were mentioning the online web game.

Camo - for me - registered fine on the portal, or my kids worked fine with the code. Warnado locked up for me, when trying to register him with the portal. However, using the code card, worked fine.

just got my volcanic vault from best buy. they didnt have any wham shells but the guy said he was expecting them to be arriving soon. he couldnt confirm a date for me though.

I just got back from BB, but all they had in stock for figs was Boomer and Wrecking Ball... An even spread of them over *76* figures. Wow. Is Boomer becoming a shelf warmer again in some areas? I should have taken a pic. No 3-packs in store at all. I ended up buying a 3DS starter pack, getting a t-shirt and a VV and then returning the 3DS pack across the street at Walmart.

Went to BB today and they had a few. Got the round zipper Skylanders case for my boys to put the portal in and another Skylanders I got a receipt to return somewhere else.

Yeah, mine didn't have any 3 packs or Adventure packs so I was stuck with buying singles.

I asked, and they said they had no idea when the next shipment of anything was coming in. The one I went to had a ton of Boomer, Drobot, Wrecking Ball and a few Bash. Those seem to be the most common in all stores, so whatever boxes they're getting in must have him in there. Wish they'd just produce boxes of one and...wishful thinking.

Do the cases count towards the $25? I saw a few and was thinking of getting one but I figured only the figures and stuff would work.

The sad thing is, I think most Best Buys had these out before Sunday. There are 4 Best Buys near me. Over the course of the past few days, I've been to each. 3 of the 4 didn't seem to have the "out" but 1 did and they had 5 sitting in the box. This morning, I went to 2 stores. Both didn't have the box out, but one had it stashed away. I got there at 11:30 and they only had 3 in the box!!! I know they didn't sell a bunch before I got there because the rack was fully stocked with Skylanders.

Anyway, I think that's kinda rotten to have a promotion in your weekly add, only to not have anything to give people. One of the Best Buys I stopped by hardly had ANY Skylanders to sell...and I got to that one when they opened at 11. Even if they had the vault, no one could get one because there weren't any Skylanders to buy!!! (except the starter sets).

In my Best Buy the Volcanic Vaults were behind the check-out counter.

Just got back from my bb in Norman ok. I got a ps3 Starter pack, as I wanted the ps3 version anyway. They had the vaults behind the counter. The managers and customer service said I had to get multiple items to get more then one, I want two - one for each kid. They asked if I had bought any recently on bb rewards, I had, so they said we can do this. They went in returned the ones I bought, sold them to me again along with the game. The customer service guy said, that is enough for three vaults and sent the sales guy back for one more. I was real happy. So are my kids and sister-in-law.

The customer service guy was curios if they would ring up separate, and they do. $49.99.

I just called a few BBs here NW Ohio seems they got a ton of them in so I can take my time getting out there.

Got my 2 free...they didn't ring them up even as I walked up to the counter with them in my hand and had 2 triple packs and a single...so she was so preoccupied with them that I stood there with them in my hand. I know...dishonest...right? Well, this way I can go back in and exchange these figures for new ones that I actually do need next week when they release more Camo, Warnado and I heard...but doubt...Wham-Shell. I suppose if i wanted to, I could go to all the Best Buy stores around and get 2 more by saying they didn't have any at the store I bought them at. But yeah...I'm not THAT shady!

Just got back from BB and they had none, never got any, not knowing what I was talking about, so I give the ad to them, they say that it must have been a typo, so I argue with them and end up leaving with Kid Icarus Uprising AR cards in my hand!

My Best Buy had the vaults, but only starter packs to purchase. They said the vault costs $50 w/out making a qualified $25 purchase. Why would I be dumb enough to buy it for $50?? I had to argue with them, that if they are running a free w/ purchase promo, they should have characters for sale. They said they wanna have them, but they just don't.....really??? So they said they would "sell" it to me for $25, that I could come back and make a "return" on it....hopefully purchase three singles and re-ring it for "free". I sorta suggested that maybe they could hold the new ones for me, if they happen to show up...but I won't be in that area again til perhaps Tuesday. I asked if I could deal with it at another store, and they said probably not. Gonna try and check my local store tomorrow, see if they can help me out. I have no hookups there, blah.

i know it was free but man i am dissappointed with the volcanic vault. its just the sewage level reskinned. not to mention the figure is nothing to hollar about either. meh

lol @ whamshell It's been stated that's what it is multiple times. It isn't worth the hassle unless you're a collection completionist as most of us are.

When I went (my previous post) the shelves were totally full and there were 1 and a half isles full but no volcanic vaults, I dont care if its not worth it I just want VV!

ya i guess your right. i am a completionist to. it just pains me to have to buy 3 chop chops to get the VV when i already own two chop chops. thats all they had at my best buy. but i bought em....

VV is not worth it, but how can you say you have the complete set without the VV? I know there are the gold/silver and limited too, but at least the VV is semi obtainable.

If it was required to get 100% in the game, or even just showed on the collection, I could see getting it. Otherwise, it is a waste of time.

Does anyone have a Volcanic Vault they want to get rid of or trade. I can probably get a Camo and Warnando at a local Wal-Mart. It shows they are in stock.

You must have got the short end of the stick man. Mine wasn't on the receipt at all. In fact, the guy I check out with just handed it to me. If he really wanted to, he could have just handed me 5 of them.

The only thing on my receipt that rang up at the classic $0.00 is my Best Buy rewards card, which he was going to sign me up for when I realized I already had one, and then the free upgrade to the Gamers Club thing.

Unless if you're a rewards member they don't put it on your receipt or something.
