Hey everyone i made this just to find out who has either : Got Wham Shell, Getting him, Ordered/Traded/Bought him or Isn't planning on getting him

I got two on the way in. Gotta say getting them earlier is a 1000 times less stressful!

I haven't found one here yet (WA), but when he does arrive in-store, I'm definitely purchasing one and Camo and Warnado when they show up.

I have no idea, really. I always thought they went by a huge cargo ship, for customs and such. I always envisioned customs being on some piers or something.

After someone posted that video here, for the first time, I had to find the movie. So, I went to a local Hastings, where I found the movie on Blu Ray for 10 bucks. I grabbed some Chic-fil-A and proceeded to watch it.

My favorite "two dollar" part, is the ski part. That guy's like, "Beat it, brat." He goes off the cliff. "AHHHHHHH."

Musicman, can you take a pic of Wham Shell outside of his packaging? I'd like to see how tall/wide he is compared to characters like Gill Grunt, Chop Chop, Sunburn, and Lightnin Rod. This is going to be able to determine if he will fit in the last slot I have open in my cases.

...and on a side note, I've not spotted a Wham Shell anywhere in Ohio. Heck, I can't find Camo / Warnado and have just today bought the Legendary 3 pack from TRU. I feel like I'm doing good!

I do! Was lucky enough to happen across 2 in Big W, Marion yesterday. I had no money, so went to borrow some from my Mum and by the time I got back, there was only one left! I must say though, he is an awesome character and heaps of fun to play with in game.

I dont. And I dont know if i even want him. He just dosnt appeal to me like Warnado or Sunburn do. But, I said that about Hex so....
And it would make no sense to have them all except one.

1. People technically DO talk about real life stuff. Have you ever bothered visiting the other sections?

2. Technically, you were acting like that with your little joke Wham Shell group. Joke or not, you're still overreacting a bit over a ****ing toy. You can go around joking saying "OHOHOHO NICE ONE" but you honestly make it look like an actual problem, regardless if that's your intention or not. It being a Spyro forum does not excuse that.

This site isn't only about mother****ing Skylanders. Maybe you never knew this, but there were actually Spyro games before Skylanders.

I took a time machine from the NES days, straight to this generation of gaming, just so I could get in on some Skylanders. That's what lead me to this Skylanders site. Really? Because looking at the bar of games, and the guides, and the fact that this site was made in 2004, not 2011, I'd assume that this site is based off of the entire franchise of Spyro, and that Skylanders just came along.

So...Wham-Shell... here's a question for you folks who have him. Is he actually available domestically at retail in the US yet? I personally haven't had any luck finding them at retail and I've done plenty of asking around and driving from store to store to store in my area. As far as I know, all the ones showing up in online auctions are just Australian imports.

Bonus fun fact: Skylanders discussion currently accounts for 40% (and growing) of total gaming posts on these forums...all in only about 1 year's time, not bad.

No wonder some older Spyro fans come here to the Skylanders section of the forums to whine about the marginalizing of Spyro...there's more of a chance people will actually read it!

I can't speak for anyone else, but I'm sure there are many like me here...those who are new to the Skylanders/Spyro universe. I personally don't have any interest in the older Spyro games though, it's not like they're readily available for purchase in most retail places anymore anyways, so there's not really a point in visiting other forum sections here...what'd there be to discuss? I'll just stick to the Skylanders related sections thanks.

Actually Syko, the original 3 Spyro games are all available on PSN for 6 bucks, and that's a lot cheaper than you'd find it anywhere retail believe me.

@The Dooms: I was referring to the Legend of Spyro series not being easy to find at this point, but yea, not really interested in any of those other Spyro games either, I mean, I watched some Let's Plays, but they're not my thing, I've already played Banjo and it seems pretty similar...also haven't done much of anything with my PS3/PSP since those PSN hack attacks awhile back.

@StormbringerGT: Yea, I remember reading about that isolated incident, no other cases since though...no word about it from any of the Best Buys in my area and no other reports either...just wondered if anyone heard anything new. I've been asking around...nada for me.

It's nice to hear people (person?) are starting to see him in the U.S., but it's going to take a lot more than the word of some Internet poster (I don't remember seeing pics, that doesn't mean there weren't any) from Va. before I start wasting time and gas checking any Best Buys. I'm certainly not calling anyone a liar, but unconfirmed reports from one guy i dont know from a state I don't live in = Wham-Shell probably isn't out there enough to be worth looking for.

Good luck, everyone else. I'll pick up the hunt once this board seems convinced that Wham-Shell is ACTUALLY AVAILABLE in the U.S. because right now, I think you'd have a better chance of finding Pearl Hex at Sam's Club (i.e. zero chance).

EDIT: I was just thinking about how much time I would have wasted looking for Camo and Warnado as soon as people here started finding them... About two weeks of pointless calls, fruitless trips to every store in the metro Atlanta... Oh, wait. That EXACTLY what I did!!! I can't drive myself that nuts again without at least a handful more people seeing Wham-Shell on shelves. I just can't.

We are upgrading to defmad 4, fellas.

If we hit defmad 5, there will be a full on assault of disgruntled My Little Ponies, who are seeking to audition for the first game to feature the Spyro character, Skylanders: Spyro's Universe. They are a raging coalition who seek to be able to come to life in a video game like Spyro and his crew does.
