Thanks to a wonderful person on this forum I managed to snag 2 flocked stumps. For all the free skylanders ive sent out it was nice for karma to return the favor.im gonna do what I can to repay them with a camo.

Man I would do anything for a flocked Stump...I used to love those fuzzy toys when I was a kid...cats, horses, etc. I've been looking everywhere for the bags but am having no luck whatsoever.

I just called the 866 number and won.

Bought two bags of chips (1 blue and 1 purple) at Albertsons. Won a Stumpy on both!

Does anyone have an extra stump code? I can't find the chips anywhere.

Wow, I haven't heard back from them yet, but I hope they don't try to offer me some coupon. If I could find them locally that would be one thing, but I had to call family out of state to find the bags! A coupon is worth about as much to me as a slap in the face. Meh, all I can do is wait and see. Good luck swimming through your chips to get the delivery of your Stumpies! If you really don't want that many chips, you could donate some of them to a food pantry or something of the nature. Oh, and congrats on the wins!

For those of you that have stump codes, if you win....post your win on here ASAP. It may help the others that are trying to win. Has anyone noticed the "fine" print in the rules??

"Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible plays received and the time in which they are received."

So that translates into....until we fulfill "x" number of losing entries, there will be no winners. So once they hit that number (x)....whatever it may be....they start shelling out prizes until they meet the quota for the day (or hour??)!! I have come to this conclusion through my experience entering (and winning, or not!!), along with all of your comments (and a conversation with frito lay rep @ customer service number). When you guys are winning, so am I...and I know there is one person on here that knows, I know what I am talking about.

Conclusion:
The code itself doesn't matter....there is no "lucky" code. It's when you enter it that matters!!! The code is just access to submit an entry.

I also noticed that just because you win on the Stump Smash site, doesn't necessarily mean you'll actually get a Stumpy. And that really sucks if they're gonna make it like that.

Hopefully next time I head down to Akron, one of the stores will have them down there. I'm guessing the Acme I went to the other day had run out of them, because the bags with the Yogurt bar in them are the newest.

I would like to try and win flocked Stump, but people don't think about something. It seems when Walmart mailed out a free figure, they threw it in a bubble envelope. TRU ships singles in a bubble envelope, and you pay for that figure. Why would these people mail Stump in anything BUT a bubble envelope?

My point: Stump will show up in damaged packaging.

What I'm thinking is that he'll probably be sent out in a similar manner to those figures they send out for Activision Assist. So he'll be in a box, and then inside will be FlockSmash in a little plastic baggie, and a web code card.

Skylanders has never had a promo like this before but judging from previous promos from other lines none of these things wil be in packages. In addition if they are packaged and they are all sent out this fashion light damage to the package will not effect the value to informed collectors.

Does anyone know how long the promotion will last? I've been searching everywhere in Dallas for the specially marked bags, and haven't had any luck so far.

I believe May 5th is the last day for the promo, but they might have the bags gone before that.

Going back to what I was talking about before for it being sent out, usually things that are prizes or mail-in things are just in a box. I got a Foster Home for Imaginary Friends Monster Truck from Kelloggs a while back, and it came in a little teeny tiny box.

Actually, I expect them to do that with the random figures too. I wouldn't be surprised if they all came like the Acti Assist things: figure in a box and the web code card.

Well, on the site and on the phone line, it specifically mentions Flocked Stump Smash, and so that's probably what the "limited edition" one is. It's kind of worrysome that the people doing the promotion don't know anything about it! 0__0


But what I meant was that it does mention on the winning page that "Actual Prize may differ from figures shown, all winning entries are subject to verification." So while they'll probably ship Flocked Stumpy, legally they could just as easily send out a regular random one.

It'd be really amazing if someone who one on the normal one got a flocked Stumpy, or that everyone gets him in the end. That'd be like Christmas Miracle worthy haha.

Agreed. I would love one of these to add to the collection we have going.
The hard part is telling the kids that we don't want to open it since it's more "collectible", though they are ok with it still being played in the box (very smart packaging that way).
I've tried the 800# many times to no avail, and can't find the bags anywhere.
So, if anyone DOES have a "spare" code they could PM me, that would be wonderful.

Anyone begging for a free code, please keep in mind that it cost anywhere from $5-$10 to get one of the variety bags that contains a code. Not to mention some luck that your local store carries these bags in the first place. The least you can do is offer to pay the cost of the bag.

I highly doubt anyone here will just PM you a free code that they just paid $5+ for...

I'm not begging, and I don't want anyone to go out and buy a bag just for me. If anyone has an EXTRA code, (if they have already won) then I would be very grateful. I don't really care if anyone dosen't, and I would never BEG someone to go get in their car, drive to the store, and pay $5-$10 just so they can come back and give it to me, and get nothing in return.

@IAmSwag: I wouldn't imagine it'd be so far-fetched that some might share their unused codes if they've already won. All things considered, what more do they have to gain by keeping them, nothing. ...and if they decide to continue to play the game in hopes of scoring more than one figure, they might get disqualified from the contest altogether. As for paying for the code, if there were any sort of guarantees that one would win, that might work, but there isn't a way to guarantee that... and what people are paying for are the chips, the code is a freebie...and maybe someone out there that has an extra code might just be nice and share with other community members, you know?

800: verizon said the number was disconnected on the first try(?), lost on the second try.

I've noticed that you seem to have crazy results with these phone lines, i.g. the constant error messages. Have you tried using different phones or calling at different times? I've tried every day since I heard about the promotion and I've never heard of there being a system error or anything.

Is there a limit on how many times you can win via the 866 or 800 numbers?

Okay.. after a few days of everybody wins, i'm concerned. I know there are those of you that are calling and entering with every phone line you have access to. and i know there is a lot of people who watch this forum. How can everybody still been winning on the phone line? theyve had to have reached the max number of prizes given out by now. so if we keep calling and keep entering, what are we really doing? does anyone have any real information about whats going on and why everyone is winning? and those of you that have won 20 times in the past few days, shame on you.

Checked the 2 Acmes down in Akron today. Neither had the Stumpy bags, but had some regular WIN bags. I think it was confirmed already, but those ones DONT win, even if you put them on the Stumpy site, right?

Sigh. I think I'll have to see if my friend can get one for me and I'll just pay her for her troubles. I don't know why they had to have FREAKING CHIPS be exclusive to one store.

I've not heard of anyone trying the random figure codes on the stumpy site. I was actually contemplating trying this myself, as I can't find any Stumpy bags in my area either.

i tried a regular code on stumpy site. didnt work. also it says a purchase doesnt increase the chances of winning. but i called the number from like 50 phones and didnt win. i buy one bag of stump smash chips at albertsons and won. go figure.
