Look what came in the mail!! :]
but....

Look at these boxes. I am disappointed at UPS and GameStop.com. Anyone else have this problem??

when did you order them? If it was like a week ago that was fast!

It was last week and I paid for standard shipping but like the picture shows the boxes are horrible. Only one of each were in almost perfect condition.

UPS has been a thorn in my groin for years. I once ordered a very nice $200 swatch watch for my wife and as I was sitting on my second story a package comes floating up over the rail of the porch and lands at my feet. I looked over the rail to see the UPS guy typoing away at his little handset as he walked back to his truck. I had to send the watch back to have it repaired and it took the company 2 months to get it straightened out.

why do you have 6 of each seems abit excessive?

I have a kinda similar problem with how Gamestop.com shipped my set out too. Both cards were bent and Warnado had a crease on the plastic top; mind you he is also completely missing a limb, so they didn't send me a good one at all.

The packaging doesn't eally bother me since they come out of the box anyways.; there damage has nothing on yours though.However, both paint jobs on mine a pretty well done

Not sure about how gamestop handles this sort of thing, but if you contact them they may be willing to work something out in compensation for the damage.

Well I ordered 5 of each for my friend and I. I have all the dragons in mint packaging and she loves Warnado so she wanted one in crisp packaging for her wall. The last 8 were for the both of us, we each wanted 2, one for each upgrade path. Only one of each were in almost mint boxes.

fair enough wish i could get hold of these but seeing as i had to resort to ebay for dragons peak over here in the UK these seem years away lol

The only ones that I have doubles of is Camo, Warnado, and Cynder. One extra of the dragons, the ledgendaries, and a blue bash are in mint packaging.

It's just I was one of many who pressed the little red button only to be told "OOPS! YO ASS WAS TOO SLOW. SORRY, BYE!" by Gamestop. Pardon me for being a little butthurt since all I need is that fruity Camo.

My boxes also arrived damaged. I was hoping to keep them sealed, but I just opened them.

Y'all are too much. I am exiting this threads because I can't with all these "I am upset because even though the product is in great/perfect condition, my packaging has dents in them! boo hoo!". Some collectors, I just can't with. *insert Cheryl crying gif.*

I'm keeping them anyway. But I just assumed they wouldn't send the box through a crusher before it got to my door

I'm not hoarding. And I have explained why I have 5 of each. One is staying in the package only one.

Oh, and Walmart and Toysrus.com suck, too. They mail their singles in a bubble envelope. I should know, because TRU just sent me my blue Bash. I ended up giving it to my daughter. A friend hooked me up with a perfect condition one.

Yeah what gets me is they had those air filled bags on the top of all of them so they would not get damaged

That sucks. However, if you're opening them anyway, all that matters is making sure one Camo was salvaged to keep in package, like you said you do with the dragons.

Huh...did they come in boxes or bubble packages? When I ordered Cynder back in like..February, she came in a box and was perfectly mint. That being said, the one I've had a lot of trouble with is TRU. The L-Triggs I ordered came similar to how your Camos/Warnados came, and heck, the Dragons Peak I ordered was already damaged when it got to the UPS center in Ohio. (How that's possible, I don't know. I can only guess that they mailed it in a plastic bag...)

The problem is that a lot of the stores are trying to save on postage, so they're mailing out in bubble packages, rather than boxes. I'm sure plenty of us have complained to TRU already, but it looks like they haven't taken a hint yet. Wish there was some way to upgrade shipping to a box or something.

I was extremely happy with my GameStop.com order that arrived yesterday. I got the LR/C/Z triple pack. It came in a box plenty big enough, and had tons of those air pocket things. It was mint. Of course, then my son destryed it when opening.

Maybe if you hadn't ordered so many, they wouldn't have had to cram them in that box.

At least you got them. All I want is one of each and I can't find them anywhere and I missed out on them being on Gamestop's site.

Yeah, I'm sure they smashed them and then put them in the box. Sounds perfectly reasonable.

people with children make me laugh when it comes to Skylanders as though because they are children they deserve them anymore than an adult sorry but if i was in a shop and they had only one Camo and one Warnado and i was looking at them first id have them after all i enjoy it just as much as children so why not. although some stories I've heard have been atrocious (adults shoving children etc that is wrong)

Congrats on finding what you needed, but maybe holding off on hoarding until the figures make the rounds would inspire less rage on these boards. It also might help your karma, if you believe in that kind of thing.

I've seen Ignitor, Zook and Lightning Rod singles all over metro Atlanta. I have all three, so I leave them on the shelf when I see them. Sure, I could indulge my hoarding or, even worse, scalp them on eBay, but I have a soul. I'd rather some kid get what he wants over me hoarding or making a few bucks (I'm 31, btw). When I found my (in retrospect completely useless) blue Bash, I bought one. When I find Camo, Warnado and Wham-Shell, I'll buy one a piece. If everyone self-applied these rules, would there be enough for everyone? No, but it would give everyone a better, more fair shot at them.

So yeah, congrats on finding them and I truly hope you enjoy your toys (no sarcasm). But maybe leave a few for the rest of us next time? Nothing in the universe will be able to convince any rational person that you needed ALL THOSE MULTIPLES RIGHT NOW, even as the rest of us scramble to find them.

Wow. Its amazing to the extent jealousy will get people. Sad! Hey man good for you! Actually you should sell a few, make the profit so you can then eventually find some in better condition for your collection. Other than thatyou got lucky, by the time I clicked order it kicked me out lol So I am now on the hunt and now you can save all that time and gas money and just enjoy your game.

I haven't seen them in stores yet, thus buying the ones I needed. And I have seen a bunch of other ones in stores and I do walk away. I hate scalpers as much as everyone else does so I don't understand why everyone is bashing me for getting the ones I needed and leaving the others alone.

If you had just shown a picture of one Camo and one Warnado, you wouldn't be getting the GameMaster78 hoarder treatment.
