sadly relatively easily actually.

take a latex mould of the normal version and then pour in clear plastic resin. remove the normal version from it's base and replace with the clear version.

actually you would probably need to dismantle the normal version and make several moulds

I found it at my local retailer (Big W) I was in the store on my day off when I found this version, the next day at work I search all 1500 units that we got in. And the I Checked 5 of our other stores they also had gotten 1500 units each so out of the 9000 units that I have had checked this is still the only one I hav managed to find.. I hav got a friends search a couple of other store for me in a than state but he hasn't had any luck either.

sorry i dont know much about variants, i wonder if anybody will buy it its really expensive

The reason I say this, is because someone bought a pearl Hex from overseas, and it was damaged by the time it got here. I feel for the person who paid out the butt for that figure, only for it to be damaged in the shipping process.

So crystal Whammie for me, when they arrive in the US. For now, the hunt continues for 3 Whammies.

Sadly, he's not kidding. He's a hoarder. He's even got at least one Zook / Cynder / Lightning Rod triple pack sitting idle in his closet. SO happy that someone was kind enough to help him though

Hoarder? I LOVE IT! If I were a hoarder, I would be like this half-bald dude who wheels a basket around my local TRU and loads it with the newest Skylanders. He even has grandkids, wife, and daughter meet him up there on Thursdays, who help scalp. He gives the grandkids one each, but he instructs them to snatch and load the basket he stays behind to grab, so he can sell the rest.

Having two for myself, to play with, allows for everyone to see which upgrade path benefits each Skylander with an unbiased approach. Two others are for my kids, naturally. So, if you want to call me a hoarder, just because everyone in my house, sans my closed-minded fiancee, plays the game, then whatever makes you feel better.

Just remember, the day I showed a pic of the 5 Warnado and Camos I bought (last Thursday), there was still 75 Camo and Warnado (must be a high volume store to get that many) left in that particular Walmart. So much for hoarding, eh? Slambam on this site, is getting a Warnado mailed to him today. Rossmcandy on Gamefaqs, is getting mailed a Camo and Warnado today. Again, so much for hoarding, right?

As for the two Whams coming my way, I am also helping said person get the two characters that aren't available in Australia, Camo and Warnado. We both get what we need, but at the same time, I am throwing in a gift for this person's generosity. This person is top on my list to help in the future, because what this person is doing, is very selfless in my opinion. You don't get much of that out of humans anymore. I couldn't be more happy to see someone as kind as this person is being. So much for hoarding, right?

Let's pretend, shall we? They should have a special episode of whatever hoarding show is on TV (I think there is one but can't remember as I hate reality TV). It could the "Skylanders" edition. It could star me, since hoarders usually have garages or houses full of things (to the point they can't even walk). I can go to the store and buy up all the stock of wave 1 that's in abundance and scatter it all over my house, so I truly look like a hoarder. Then, maybe the stores can stock more Camo, Warnado, and soon-ish, Wham Shell. I will make sure they mail the episode to you. I kid, of course. You know I love ya, brother Hime.

I'm not attacking you or anything like that, but it sounds like you only help those who help you.

I'm collecting 2 each Skylander as well, for the same reasons you are; The upgrade path.

Since you state you are swarmed by Camos and Warnados in stores in your area, if I asked you if you could go to where ever you get them from and buy me 1 or 2 of each and I would pay you what you paid for them, plus shipping and handling and a small finders fee, would you do that for me? Or would I have to have a Wham-Shell to trade you?



Maybe they should make Crystal Versions of other guys as well!

It is saddening that barely anyone has ever helped me, but I still help. I help where I am appreciated, though. However, one truoly standout person is helping me get two Whams, while I help them get what they need. That's how this should have gone to begin with. People helping one another. Sadly, sometimes you happen upon websites, where people say they will help others, but are probably just looking to save time and money, while getting help. It does happen. It's a human trait to lie or be deceptive. It makes me wish God would just blow this world up and start over. That's before I see with my own eyes, someone standing up, helping someone, who in turn gets to help them.

That's what makes life, in my eyes.

And yes, Storm, all you had to do was ask. Ask Gaia here. Heck, ask Slambam, Terranakari, Madel, and Wolfnine (there are more just can't remember), if I asked them to trade me for the Skylanders they got from me. What it boils down to, is I help certain people here, because certain people here still exercise a bit of maturity, while others think to throw out attacks for whatever judgmental reason they see fit.

If I spoke out of step I apologize. I only said it seems. Again I'm newer on this forum, so I'm only basing what I know on what I've read so far. Which isn't always accurate.

I used to participate a lot on the Pokemon Trading Card scene. There were a lot of bitter people there and I ended up leaving. I may have jumped to conclusions here in my statements and I apologize if I did.

Honestly though, with this being year of the Dragon I'm surprised that the Dragon's didn't get variants.

The person selling it for that much is smoking crack, if they think crystal Wham will go for what the combined silvers/golds go for. They like jokes.

As for variants this final wave, I was thinking that the exclusive blue Bash was a prelude to more transparent blue figures (2 more mass released). However, it seems seethrough is the flavor of the wave, but not one color. We have a seethrough blue figure and a clear figure.

I bet there is one more figure this wave, that is a variant. As to why it is, is anyone's guess.

I also don't think the variants will end, just because the final Skylander released. NOPE! They will probably pack all future waves/revisions with some variant, just to keep the hardcore coming back after the final Skylander has long been released.

i've been in communication with the other ebay seller and he has already had some offers close to $1000 that is why his auction is still running and won't be ending early

hopefully some more will start appearing once they are released in the usa and europe

and it'll be interesting to see how much the flocked stump smash starts selling for when they start being delivered to the competition winners

It will. Silvers and golds were found in all countries across the globe. It's just a matter of when Wham hits the states, before they start showing up as often as silvers and golds did.
