I know this is a long way off if at all to tell certianly and that there is already 2 topics about this. but do you think there will be a skylanders 3?

As I have tried to think to my limits there isn't much they could do but add more characters.

If you think there wont be one quote why.
If you think there will be a third quote what you think it will be about and who the villian will be.

if activision hit the jack pot with this then wouldn't they make more games for more money or a different series with figures like these e.g. crash figure path or somethin like that?

I do like sunburn and he is still my fave but I thought a GIF. looked cooler and the GIF.s I found of sunburn were to many KBs.

if there is a skylanders 3 i hope its returning to the PC... lets hope we dont need an upgrade.

There probably wont be a pc version IF there is a Skylanders 3 because of all the hacks and mods.

the real reason was that it didnt sell enough, so activi$ion scraped it....

maybe they just need to distribute it a different way, say via online download. thats way cheaper to distribute.

Stop over dramatizing it. They didn't say it would be shorter, they said it would have more than 15 chapters, which is just an estimate. Expect close to 20. You act as if they flat out stated it's only 10 chapters and 3 hours long.

I wouldn't be surprised if Activision made 6 sequels to Skylanders.

At some point I just really want some back history on the characters. I would love to see a sequel where to get to see or play as the characters when they first join the skylanders.

it would be called a prequel which is before the first. oh and if u wanna know their history go to skylanders.com and read their story.

My point is I personally would love to see flashbacks or something which would allow you to play as these characters making their way to becoming a skylander. Some of the characters have a weak back story but some of them like Hex have a very interesting connection to Spyro that I would love to see play out. Also in the opening trailers these characters all talk about their connections to each other or having dealt with KAOS previously, but when did this all happen? I think if they had to make a third game I would like to see these flashbacks. They could easily make 31 levels at least, a level for each characters back story or more, not counting Spyro because we know his storyline even though you could see how he meets Eon. Now this may make the game fairly long but I think the game is too short and the new game will also be pretty short so having a lengthy plot rich game would be really cool.

Also while it may be a prequel it would still be a third installment in this current franchise.

This is Activi$ion I doubt they will create a skylanders game with a deeper plot and a more developped gameplay because money...

You know if you piont out that somethings sarcasm it sought of loses the point in saying something you dont mean. Computers and stuff that are on it will never understand sarcasm as they have no emotion.

I hope there is not a 3rd one because I still have to get a lot of skylanders and I plan on getting Giants and buy the new skylanders and giants

I think it is almost 100% certain there will be a third skylanders game but by that point it will have fully divorced itself from the spyro franchise. At this point I hope spyro will get his own games again.

I hope Spyro will have a (new) separate series than skylanders and also crash would also be good.

That Bobby Kotick of Activi$ion wants all our money, so maybe a 3rd 4th 5th 6th and 7th.

By my theory is they will most likely not.

I hope there won't be a third. Just cuz I have had enough of Skylanders, but this is all my opinion

If they want to hold on to the interests of the fans they can't just focus on only collecting they need to start working on plot.
