I know it has appeared online, but have people been seeing this in stores? I havent heard anything about the triple pack in stores. I thought I would have found one by now. I have even resorted to buying a single Cynder at Wal-Mart the other day in case I find singles of Zook and LR. And now I guess I can start looking for the final figures, too.

I would really just prefer to buy the triples, though.

Saw a 3-pack at Best Buy today.

I saw two Triple Packs at TRU on this past Sunday.

Good to know its out there. I haven't bought any singles except for L-Trig (and the Cynder I plan to return when I get the triple pack), but I hadn't heard about any sightings. Just gotta keep looking, I guess. Thanks.

I know of a store that has as I type this. Actually, two of them.

When I found my first two, I found them at Best Buy. My fiancee found 3 at a local TRU, and I had her pick them up, because people said they needed them, but I guess they must have found them elsewhere. One lady did pick up one of those three off me, thus leaving me with 2 left, just chillin' in my closet.

So, yes, they have appeared in stores numerous times.

I guess by "anyone", you mean the extremely minute number of gamers that happen to click on this forum thread? At least put them on Ebay so someone can enjoy them.

I got mine from my local EB games. It was a fluke, though, since I just happened to call them a few minutes after they opened the shipment.

I don't sell on Ebay. Never have, probably never will. My account has a feedback of 24, since 2002. All as a buyer.

I can't sell them at cost, because after fees, I take a bigger loss than selling them direct. I can't do a starting bid, because it may go higher than it should, and I would feel like a scalper. I don't want something selling for more than it costs in stores.

I should probably point out that by removing the product from the supply chain, you are actually helping the scalpers.

Then just return the stupid things instead of holding them hostage. Or maybe you're planning to use them as incentives to get the clear Wham Shell like you do with your many stolen Volcanic Vaults.

I didn't want to be stuck with it. It's another reason I've sort of let up on helping others. Too many times I've been stuck with characters people say they need, but when I offer at a loss, they don't take up the offer, only to keep griping that they can't find Skylanders, lol.

Wish I could, Hime. My fiancee used a credit card. I gave her the cash to pay back that card. She threw away the receipt, or so she says. I think she doesn't want to give me the money back, while taking the figures back (she probably spent the money elsewhere).

^ Yes some of these people are crazy ... Ignore them... It's jealousy at its best. And people dont understand like you said. I ve sold stuff on ebay and end up losing because of the fees or because people want pretty boxes instead of bags and they dont want to pay the shipping. I think you should try for a higher bid and if they chose to pay it so be it. Let go of the guilt, its the buyers who drive up the sales not the seller.

Thanks for the advice, Zep. I'm sure someone will need them. If anything, maybe I will put them up on Ebay, calculate the fees and such, that way when all is said and done I get extactly what I paid for it, without taking a loss after Ebay and Paypal fees.

I've only seen one in my TRU, but it was the last one and I had all of them so I didn't want it.

I saw the 3 pack 4 times in the last week. I know it's still hard to find and not everyone can go to the store on a day to day basis. Check Craigslist. I've seen people list the 3 packs for as low as 25 dollars on there. That's cheaper than getting it shipped and it's instant gratification as it's local. I know in my town there are usually 10 or so postings a day with most figures in the 10-12 dollar range per. Again, cheaper than having someone here ship them to you...and again you get them today and not 4-5 days later. And calling stores goes a long way.

Maybe I should make a how to call stores thread... lol

I bought one at TRU a week after the release. They had the $5 gift card prootion going on. Actually got it for someone else but she only needs the lr and zook, so I was looking at breaking it apart and giving the Cynder to someone else. Just a few months ago it was hard to get the Cynder....

I saw the triple pack when I was out with my friends and didn't have my cash on me >.>
Now they're sold out and I had to order online.

I managed to find the last one in my local Tesco couldn't believe it thought I was seeing things lol only downside is though that I now have a spare cynda, as I brought her a while back in a single pack.

I finally saw a triple pack at Best Buy. I got the last one. I still have yet to see the single pack of the wave 4 figures. And, now Camo and Warnado are out.

I saw the triple pack at TRU and got it taken 2 second before I got there...so I ordered it online. But I did see it.

I have also yet to see the Single packs of Wave 4 in stores, and now wave 5 is out...so...

Yeah, I always check every product on the pegs just in case something is hidden. Who knows, you might even come across a rare figure that you could use to fund future purchases.

And after reading here that others have even found items hidden nearby by people (probably employees) that want to buy them at a later time, I even check behind the other items near the Skylanders displays. I figure that I drove to the store, so I might as well take a few extra minutes and make sure I don't miss something that could make it worth my trip.

We decided to buy it from GameStop.com. Shipped, it's basically the same price as TRUs regular price. Three to go.

Got my 3 Pack from Gamestop today. Ordered it from TRU a while back but Gamestop was cheaper in store.

I actually found this pack in target. I live in MA and everything is extremely scarce so I was really surprised by this one!

There's literally no reason the seller should have to pay for gas to the post office, and more importantly, the envelope/box, from their own pocket. That's the buyer's responsibility, whether it's on eBay or not. People aren't charities, and anything thick enough to ship one of these without damaging the packaging and/or figure doesn't come free.

That's one of the reasons I stopped selling on eBay years ago... people expected the postage to literally just be the cost of the stamps/postage lable but still expected the things to arrive in a good condition in a decent box with padding... I'm not sure about gas costs, maybe if you can't include the post office on your way to somewhere you need/want to go... but the box (if you had to buy it) should be covered by the buyer. It's not like I wanted money for my time or anything... just basic cost-covering.

I had the exact same thing happen at my store on Dragon's Peak release day. I glanced at the racks and saw nothing new. A minute later, I see a guy who came in after me with a new triple-pack in his hand. Apparently, they were behind the Pirate Seas and Darklight Crypt.

Haven't seen it in stores yet. :/

I saw one today at TRU. It was the only one. I was tempted to buy it but I would only get it for lightning rod. I didn't get..... I regret that know

I ended up getting on through pure luck at the Johnson City, TN TRU on 3/31. I showed up early due to a friend telling me about the "release" of LTH, picked up two (one for my wife and I and another for our friend in NC who hadn't found one yet), found Empire of Ice (my first time ever having seen it), and nothing else. Then, after all the other early waiters had left, an employee wandered up to me from the front, right past a man and his son who were at the front display, with the 3 pack in his hand asking, "Do you need this?" Needless to say, I couldn't get it out of his hands and into my basket quick enough. Since then, however, no new stock.

Since Dragon's Peak suddenly showed up in bulk on TRU's website this morning, I'm starting to wonder if TRU (and perhaps other retailers) aren't holding back stock to do a larger release of the newer characters. It seems kind of silly that Skylanders has gotten as popular as it has and Activision is choking off stock of the newest, most desired characters. You'd think they wouldn't need to manufacture demand!

I consider packaging to be part of the shipping. A "handling" charge is something done by infomercials that artificially jacks up the price. And gas is incidental. Just stop by a post office while you are doing other things.

Just got my 3-pack shipped to me yesterday, and dropped into a Game Stop today running errands. Of course, there are two 3-packs sitting on the pegs, mocking me. Oh, well, at least I have it. Three to go.

The 3 pack is on sale right now at Gamestop if anyone needs it.
