I was going to hold out for a triple pack but then I figured if I ordered a triple pack online it'd cost the almost the same with shipping as getting 3 single packs anyhow

For me, EB Games/Gamestop has been a goldmine lately. Everything we have gotten aside from the single pack Cynder and Dragon's Peak has been from there. That being said they DID have the single pack Cynder when we picked up the 3-pack as well, TRU just had it a few days before The TRU near me has been a huge letdown though, they haven't gotten any anything overly special aside from the DP adventure pack... and they only got 10 of them in (luckily my wife was 7th in line lol).

you saw dragons peak at eb games? I though that was exclusive to tru for the first month

no DP was at TRU... pretty much the only good thing they have gotten in over the past month

what time do you guys usually check the stores? I've had no luck in over two weeks

I usually call right after I wake up sometime between noon to 1pm which is around when they usually seem to get stock in.

i checked walmart around 4pm and it looked like they were just put out. the pegs were all full.

I've gotta say, I think I like Zook and Lightning Rod more now that I've played them a bit. Also, I gave in and picked up another Flameslinger today. This one better not let me down!

Oh, I was chatting up some Giants today at EB. They'll be sold for $14.99 each. (The giants, not the regular-sized figures.)

Zook is surprisingly good. It took me a while to realize that "zook" is supposed to be short for bazooka.

Walmart in Brampton @ Hwy 10 and Bovaird Dr. (Hwy 7) apparently have 3 shelves full:

Lightning Rod
Zook
Drobot
Bash
Ignitor
.. and possibly more - she's off the phone now and can't remember the entire list.

Anyways, she's got 2 Lightning Rods and 2 Zooks that we need. Still lots left according to my wife. She's the best!

I just ordered the 3DS version from Best Buy, though I'm a bit disappointed since the American counterpart of the store has it at nearly half price and with a free t-shirt... Oh well, beggars can't be choosers, I guess.
(I dislike shopping from Best Buy in general, but I received a gift card for my birthday, so...)

EB Games seems to be the only place that regularly stocks up. Walmart and Toys R Us sure are slow...

a couple of the TRU that i visit in toronto are limiting you 2 figures each , which would include singles and 3 packs. i went to the one at markham and lawrence and walked in 2 minutes after the store opened and i swear to god the whole wall of skyladers were gone... i was like wtf...but then when customers were told they could only buy 2 per person i scored a ignitor and a lightning rod

oh then i hit a tru in pickering 2 days ago and i saw a wallfull of skylanders....but when i got there they hand the same 4 figues...bash , whirlwind, eruptor and stealth elf if i remember right. i spoke to the girl and she said they got a whole skid of cases in the back and every box had the same 4 figures....and they get them in via courier and they arrive without schedule

I get the feeling that the Wave 5 releases were an accident. I'd say just be patient. Then again, if you DO see one for sale, let us know.
The only thing I'm looking for at the moment now is the Chop Chop, Bash, whomever 3-pack. I thought I'd be cool with just having the Legendary Chop and Bash, but I'm weak and must now buy them all.

Guys don't forget this was Good Friday which is a stat holiday so if they didn't have stock on Thursday they won't have anything different on Saturday.

Now many places are open on Monday but pretty much nothing will be shipping that day either due to be being a holiday for federal employes.

Gotta be patient and wait tell tuesday before bugging them again lol.
