Iv been trying for the last couple weeks to find a silver dino rang. I dont have any interest in collecting any of the other gold and silver ones, but i love dino rang. Can anyone help me find one? any suggestions on where to go online?
Any help at all would be SUPER appreciated.

your best bet is ebay, or having a friend that works at toys r us who can check packages as they come off the truck

The variants are really rare, so its unlikely you'd fine one just waltzing into a store. Like Osbor said, your best bet would be to look on ebay, but you probably won't find one for under $80 at least.

@dragon_fang21: Here is a current eBay listing. It's for a set of silvers. I figured that if you honestly had that much money to blow on a single figure, you could just as easily pick up the entire set and get rid of the other ones if you didn't want them (as I doubt money would be an issue for you).

Alternatively, if that happens to be too far out of your price range or you're concerned with the very likely possibility of counterfeits on the reseller market, you can also look here for a much more affordable solution.

....and that e-bay listing is not that bad....silvers and gold can go for about $200.00 each.
Finding them cheaper would be better though!

my friend cant even find a NORMAL dino rang he has never seen a skylander in a store in his life either me or his dad find them and buy them for him hes so unlucky i just got him a whirlwind its in his mail box

Metallic cynder, Blue bash, and Silver dino-rang were the only variants i wanted and i already have 2 of em.

@CAV: Personally, I happen to share your opinion that it is not worth the extra money, but I also understand that although it isn't worth it to me, it may be worth it to those who want it. Opinions differ from person to person. If it brings the buyer happiness, it can be worth whatever is paid for it.

Sykotek I love the fact that both the quotes you used about justifying the expense of the variant were from people on currency. It makes you think a little bit.

The OP wants this and has been looking for it for awhile. It isn't my place to tell him how to spend his money and if he is happier for purchasing this, it is most definitely worth it (to him).

the whole "worth" debate is so pointless. a tshirt isnt "worth" $25 at the mall, because it costs the maker roughly $1 per shirt, but does that stop you from buying the clothes you like? probably not. different people like spending money on different things. i spend my money on skylanders (not "worth" the money) and shoes (also not "worth" the money) but im willing to pay it so that means it is worth it to me.

i've been with my wife 14 years and married for 7 of those. at the end of the day it's about making each other happy.

if your silver skylander will make you happy then your wife should understand this and support you. i can almost guarantee that your wife has bought a lot of things that you didn't think she should have and yet she still did ... it is just that women get what they want in a marriage more often than the men do because men want the easy option and try to avoid conflict.
