Here is my open collection so far and I have just started collecting closed still in the package Skylanders now Oh What Joy.......

This is my collection, updated today. I can't wait to have it completed. Then on to the Giants! I want the Alchemist!!!

*sigh* no hope. i have been seartching for days, but my videogame store keeps getting in the old ones. and i never get to get them before they dissapear suddently. there is NO way i can find sunburn now much less any other skylander thing

sunburn is supposed to come out tomorrow

the picture on the end of this video is all the skylanders out to date. except the gold and silver.
just incase anyone is like i was in the begining not knowing what was out and what wasnt.

Look here is what I picked up today can you say scarce they only had a few and I was first in line.

Edit: In the last picture, there are 19 Skylander figures in the case. It says it holds 32, but I'm thinking that won't be likely. It's already pretty crowded in there!

The Legendary characters are only available from Toys R Us. Most that I've seen have been a single pack for Trigger Happy, and a 3 pack with Bash, Spyro and Chop Chop.

I have a drill sergeant with a completely black part that tells you its tech. (Where the gears at the bottom are)

That's the original Walmart Exclusive version. When they went to the other retailers, it was fixed in the single and triple packs.

What's interesting is besides the gears being painted, they paint is actually different. The old Walmart one had a much more glossier paint job than the newer one.

i dont want the legendaries only the original 32 and dark spyro sense he came with the 3ds version though i might en up buying them depending on how big the gap between this and wave 5 is

^ That's old news but it's still pretty cool. I wish that he was really a Skylander that you could play as. The detail work on that figure is amazing.

Don't have pics yet and my collection is tiny but I have:
spyro, gillgrunt, triggerhappy, drobot, bash.
And I have three being sent in the mail now: Stealth elf, Wreckingball, and sonic boom.

^ we all start somewhere. I haven't even played through half of my figures. I'll post an update of my new set. I plan to make a nice display for them with little pockets to nest them and I will machine their names in front to identify them. Yay for projects!

The storage boxes are ArtBin Super Satchel Box 9007AB.

This is why I like the Stanley Sortmaster Jr. cases. They fit 37 Skylanders, 4 level toys, and 8 magical items. I've seen people post case pics of the original Stanley Sortmasters, and with 2 cases you can't fit it all, with 3 cases you would have one too many leftover spots. Those cases don't even snap together. The cases you post, looks as though you could fit everything and have a couple of slots left open.

Maybe it's just my OCD, but I hate seeing leftover spots. I just wished all cases would snap together like the Sortmaster Jr. cases.

In the ArtBin boxes the vertical dividers in the top three rows are removeable, so the number of free spaces can be reduced. Eventually there will be more Skylanders, so obsessing over empty spaces is a useless game of organizing and rearranging. Good luck finding a storage solution that fits everything exactly perfectly today and tomorrow.

The Stanley boxes look like they belong in the garage. The aesthetic is so wrong.

I used "fake rock" spray paint to give it a castle texture.

I'm going to add the Skylanders logo to the top arch when I have more time.

^ Very nice job! I love the finish on the wood and the "fake rock" paint was a good choice.

Do you have or intend to buy volcanic vault?

I have debated getting the volcanic vault. It is about 35-40 bucks online. It's not in my immediate buy list. I wanted all the major functionality and all this essentially does is add a new skin to the pvp element, which is great, but I feel it will have a rerelease at some point. If not, I'll get at least 1 for my personal collection. The other collection is my nephew's so he just has the basic set without blue bash.

Added camo, warnado, metallic cynder, blue bash.... aaannd not sure which others are new lol

All the Adventure Packs are together at last!


Still debating on where Zook will go, especially if Camo is smaller. Zook doesn't..fit too well there. My custom Chop Chop has been moved down to hand on the 2 tacks on the shelf.


I guess I underestimated how some of these guys would fit. To sort of make things easier, I put a little case in the back for Whirlwind, Eruptor and Ghosty to sit on. Warnado should have just the perfect amount of room to sit in front of Rod.


My more rarer stuff. I have to take Bash off the 3DS portal whenever I play. I guess it causes the regular one to think theres 2 on it!


And my 2 on the wall. Just need a L-Three Pack to hang up, although it'll be the last thing I look for.

Originally it was silver, but I wanted it to look more like an Arkeyan. I'd love to find some glow in the dark paint and make some accents. I'll probably also go back over and color it better at some point too.

nice how long did it take to do and what kind of paint did you use?
