I don't know if this is th riht thread but listen to this.

I was at Marble Slab. We finished up and went outside. I got my mom to take me into Gamestop next door. They had lots of skylanders (Stealth Elf, Chop Chop, Bash, Eruptor, Drill Sergeant, Drobot, and Double Trouble!). The guy askes us if he could help us with anything and my mom says no just looking at skylanders. The man tells us that is the remnents of there shipment of only thirty!! He then told us that they only got one of each of the new ones!! I asked when they would et more and he said that they don't have any more shipments planned on the schedule!
On the way home, my mom said that's probably the employees! The employees part I believe. But, come on Activision! You make a new skylander, It should be the only one in the shipments!!
I live in Alaska, so small shipments and rare shipments are usual. But still, Make the availibility better for your players!!

no they literally don't carry them at all theres no display and i asked the manager and he said they won't be carrying them

Kitty I love u! I had two in my hand wednesday and they took them from me. I open one and collect another. My sis mailed me one amd now I dont have to stand in line tomorrow for another one. Nice find! I can sleep in tomorrow.

You had no idea how much I did not want ot go to Toys R US tomorrow for this. Ironically I think I am still going because I already promised my daughter we would go there early for the release and I need another shot at a Lightning Rod. At least I now know I am likely to get a Sunburn so there be no worries.

Kitty, I was about to post a new thread about this! I don't think there's any need to worry about scalpers, though - I'm sure they can find it on their own, too. I'd focus on the families you help acquire it by posting the link, instead.

Well good, I'm glad I saved a lot of people here a great deal of trouble and/or stress tomorrow! I, myself, would gladly pay shipping in exchange for a two hour wait, from which I'm not even guaranteed a pack.

@ Himewad : That would make a lot of sense, wouldn't it? The communication within the business must be nonexistent, I mean with them having to pull Dragon's Peak packs and stuff on Wednesday. I'm not going to complain if I don't have to get up super early tomorrow, though!

Also, while I'm thinking about it, keep an eye on amazon today for EoI. When I ordered mine Thursday, the page said processing would take an extra 1-2 days, and that the next shipment should arrive today. Since mine hasn't shipped yet, I imagine it should when the stock comes in.

Got it an hour ago. I'll probably still go to TRU tomorrow to try and get it sooner, but if not I'll at least have this to fall back on. Hoping it doesn't ship until Monday so that I can cancel the order if need be.

I really did not want to go to Toy's R us in the morning as I am a minister and my TRU is about 30 miles away and Church at 11:00AM Was really praying for a solution. Awesome! I just got dragons peak on tru.com. I would have been waiting a while otherwise since my nearest tru is 60 miles away.

It sure beats waiting in line for disappointment. I have been getting conflicting info from my TRU, about Sunday, and get the impression they already put some of the stock out

Just ordered a dragon's peak! It's funny I was just thinking about what I would choose tomorrow, now I can focus on getting zook and/or lightning rod.

Now if only they would put up the zook/lightning rod/cinder three pack I wouldn't have to go there at all tomorrow! I am sick of going to TRU!

Thank you Kitty for posting about Dragon's Peak. I was able to just order one so now I don't have to wake up early and stand in line tomorrow. Now if I could just find L-Rod, Legendary 3 pack and Empire Of Ice I would be all set till wave 5.

Cynder is back and stock @ amazon. Looks like we are getting a huge supply across all retailers.

I got in!! Mine said it would arrive between 3/28 and 4/2. Can anyone confirm if the Zook 3 pack is indeed in the TRU ad that starts tomorrow??

I ordered Dragon's Peak online and it says I'll see it 3/29-4/3. So psyched. I have the patience to wait in line at TRU, but not the time; and I have a feeling this Adventure Pack is going to be harder to get than the rest of Wave 4.

How is it even worth selling on Ebay. After fees and tax, you end up making only a couple dollars. There are plenty of Ebay listings for a measly $15 that end with no bidders.

Yeah, but they hit you up with fees. I'd just offer it here or on the Facebook page. It will save you those horrendous fees.

My suggestion is craigslist them. Make them pick em up...if you're comfortable with people coming to your home.

I am in retail sales on Ebay selling coins and such and they kill you with fees.

I don't know whether to order DP or just hope for the best at TRU...

There were ~100 people outside my store 30 minutes prior to opening on a weekday for the last event. I figure if I wanted a chance at Dragon's Peak on a Sunday, I'd have to be there around two hours prior to opening. I'm not particularly excited about that. However, the ad ialex posted in another thread suggested that they -might- have the legendary triple packs in stock.

So I figure with the 1 pack per customer limit, I could order Dragon's Peak online and arrive 15~30 minutes prior to opening Sunday. While the people who have been waiting since 8am are getting Dragon's Peak, I could grab the legendary triple pack. Plus, all triple and adventure packs costing over $20 come with a $5 gift card in store.

Of course, there's no guarantee the local TRU will have either Dragon's Peak or the legendary triple pack. However, if the product is in-stock at TRU.com (which it is), you only have about 30 minutes to cancel it. So you really can't order it, go to TRU tomorrow, and cancel your order if you manage to get Dragon's Peak from the store. So it really comes down to:

Ordering: Guaranteed to get; Sunday morning not spent in front of TRU; will arrive between 3/28 and 4/02; costs ~$33.

Waiting: No guarantee; possible hours spent waiting in line; can play it right away; costs ~$21.

This was the same debate I had this morning with myself. On the one hand, the TRU I was going to go to thanks to the info from another member here was supposed to have at least 30 some in stock, not to mention if they got more.

On the other, it's not an absolute guarantee that I'll get one; I may get there and find a ton of people in line. The way I see it, a little bit more online not only guarantees that I'll get DP, but also prevents me headache and heartache from searching around. That to me is worth it.


(Although in your case, I'd definitely order online and nab a Legendary Pack in store. That $5 giftcard should eat up the Shipping and handling for DP to get to your house)
