Yes it is early for some but u all knew it was coming. Are we just waiting on blue bash, camo, warnado and wham shell? Are they coming out easter?

Camo, Warnado and Wham are the Skylanders I wanted most when I first saw this line...they saved the best for last.

^Me too, but I think it would have been better to release all of them at once. You know, being busy with the new game and all.

Inevitably, these will be even harder to find then the ones out now.
I'm kinda glad they didn't have a hard date for things before. They couldn't deliver on this date, so it'll be nice to at least have a fighting chance with whatever comes out next.

I just hope they come out in April instead of May...As of May 15th I'll be buried in demons blood playing D3.

They should be released on Easter.

I dont think these will be hard to find. Not many people want any of these besides camo. Dragons peak will be harder to come by than anyyhing we have seen so far.

Actually lots of people want all of wave 5.

Yes, coming out on easter. When all the non-heathens are in church (had to sneak that one in again to get a response). And why in the world would wave 5 be easier to find? There werent lines for wave 3, but there were many lines (some quite long) for wave 4.

Wave 3 has been hard to find here where I live.

I know many have had trouble getting wave 3, but there weren't lines like there were for today's release. It's only going to get worse unless Activision decides to ramp up production.

Activision is probably holding back tons of stock for themselves and getting scalper prices on eBay. They were tired of seeing other people get big bucks for an $8 (or $10) figure, so they decided to get many times that (plus rape people for shipping).

Wasn't haten' just commenting about all of the "this is the best, no this is the best" comments. I would never tell you your opinion is wrong simply that it might be premature to state which is the best. It's cool that they are your favs. but claiming they are the "Best" simply seems premature as a general statement. I personally can't wait to get Wham and War they are my favs. but I don't know if they will be the best. So far based on what I've played Stealth is the most O.P. Skylander with Sword Spec. Zook is a monster with Ranged. Double Trouble is hard to beat since his Laser Staff of Doom seems to stun as well as auto target while being a sustained attack. Those I would declare as the "Best" based on playing them.

I'm excited for Wave 5 and all, but I was hoping with the release of Wave 4 that I would be able to pick up restocks of Cynder. I still need her to complete Wave 3 and all but Sunburn for Wave 4. I think what excites me most about Wave 5 is that this crazy Skylander ride is almost over. I won't be hopping on the Giants train.

I'm not lying guys!!!! It said it on the Skylanders Q&A Skylander Facbook page. My ou can look for yourself. It will say 'oh yeah wave 5 is coming some time in April' and you know it will because the fans are going crazy because of little shipment!

i just hope for wave 5 that the last 3 come in a triple pack so i can take the easy way out

^You have to buy Wham-Shell in a single because the triple of wave 5 is Ignitor Camo and Warnado.

As for Giants, I'm not sure yet. I don't want to go through this all again. I can commit to not buying the remade figures, I would just want the new giants and other "all new" ones, but I'm still unsure of what I want to do.

That is just plain ridiculous.

There wouldn't be much point in saying we can use our original Skylanders only to have them stuck at level 10. What would the point be in bringing them over? I'll see if I can do a little research but honestly I doubt we'll find many concrete details before E3. Now that I think about it was it even confirmed that the game will allow ANY Skylander new or old to level past 10? I don't remember seeing that if they did.

if they seriously do that, i'll have a huge incentive to follow up on that guy's work, the guy who tried to emulate the portal of power

they could easily tinker with the ingame handling of the figure's data in order to squeeze in a single extra digit

Back on Topic. I imagine that camo, warnado, and wham-shell are going to come out in May. I mean look. Wave 2 arrived around November, Then wave 3 came in January, and wave 4 appeared in March, so we have had 2 month intervals so it would seem that they would probably come out in may.

I suspected this would be the case... why else would the reposed old Skylanders NOT be compatible with the old game? There had to be something...

What does this really all mean though?

In terms of gameplay:

• If it's like the current console version, not being able to level up your characters to the new cap would make it more difficult later in the game, but you wouldn't necessarily lose out on abilities since those were purchasable.
  


• If it's like the 3DS version, not being able to level up your characters to the new cap might mean you won't have access to certain character abilities which could possibly make it a lot more difficult later in the game.
  

In terms of demand:

• This should mostly eliminate the demand for current figures for most people who learn this, spread the word to your friends. It means that if you can wait for these new reposed figures, you should wait as they'll work with both the original Skylanders and Skylanders: Giants and they're better because they allow you to reach higher levels. Also, you should definitely not, under any circumstances, pay more than retail for any regular figure.
  


• If you happen to have it in for the reseller market, make sure to not buy any single figures for less than $7.99 retail+shipping or any packs for less than $19.99 retail+shipping on eBay because they'll be likely to be sitting on a whole lot of paperweights soon enough. Spread the word.
  

@Deandria: From what I read, the reposed figures will work with the first game. The only ones that won't are the characters that aren't available in the first game.
