Yeah, not letting each of the kids get one is absolute BS. Otherwise, I'm fine with each individual human getting one the first time through the line, because the goal, which is to make sure everyone gets them, is admirable.

well, i didnt go because i have a 9 oclack class and didnt care enough to drive 30 minutes to be disappointed. so my dad went on his way to work and said there was a guy pushing a cart with literally 60-80 skylanders in it. he couldnt see what he had in the cart, but all that was left was chop chop and drill sergeant. either way tru sucks.

I can understand why they did it, and I was that methods biggest critic. When my TRU opened, they navigated us, where everyones' eyes were fixated on Zook and Lightning Rod. Even Ignitor sold out, which was odd.

Had they allowed everyone one of each, they would have been gone even faster.

I'm glad you called and complained. That's terrible. At least ours even let a woman with a baby get 2.

The rules are there to prevent scalpers – someone with kids getting them is certainly not a scalper.

I'm glad you called and complained. I wish more would do so. It's the only way our complaints will get action and make sure these same problems don't happen again.

Our store did 1 per guest which was OK because parents with their kids got a fair share of the merchandise. No zook or lightning rod however which really sucked and I was a little pissed when I saw dragon's peak knowing that it will not ring up. That was really disappointing.

Toys R US westland has Dragons Peak but arent' putting it out yet. Check back on the 25th

That my friend sounds the most stupid one that I've heard to date. I know they are trying to control the supply and make sure everyone gets a piece of the action but the fact that you waited when the line cleared up just like a person coming in later, you should have had a chance to get another one. It is not like you were trying to buy4,5 or even 2 of each but just 1 of each.

I came home called the corporate office. After a ong discussion this led them to transfer me back tho the store I had been in that morning. The lady I that had refused me Lightning Rod said she misunderstood company direction and said if I came back in she would sell me him. I asked her to verify that they still had him because there was only one left when I left earlier. I was told it had been saved for me in case I came back. I walked back in at 11:47 am and was told there was still a strict one per limit on zook, ignitor and LRod. The shelves were now full of the other figures. After arguing with more employees for ten minutes the lady I had talked to over the phone and apoligized that the LRod she had held for me was sold to a nine year old boy. She seemed to think the idea that a kid got my LRod would make me happy. I left again empty handed they had no interest in taking my name number or anything. It was pretty much a sorry about your darn luck situation. I am really not happy now.

I had Dragon's Peak in my hand but when I went to pay was told I couldn't buy it. They said they will be put back out on 3-25-12...most unprofessional thing I have seen in a long time. They were literally pulling them out of people's hands. I would have scored Dragon's Peak, Zook and Lightning Rod but was only able to get Zook since they had a limit of 1 of anything...I would consider this a botched event thanks to TRU.

Man, I'm sorry to hear from you guys whose store didn't get any. I'll admit TRU is doing things pretty screwed up but unfortunately they are making so much money they probably don't really care.

I was at my TRu at 30 minutes before opening. About 20 minutes till, there were 3 moms and some kids so my wife and I went ahead and got out of the car and in line. (My goal was to get Zook, Lightning Rod and Dragon's Peak).

At 10am they let us in. About 8 more folks had gotten in line after us. Some ran toward electronics....I understood the kids....but the adults running made me laugh. Pretty pathetic.

There were bunches of wave 4 but they were moving fast....I had to reach over some moms while they got theirs to get ours. They had a POP (point of purchase) display full of Dragon's Peak. I was pretty excited cause Sunburn was one of the ones one of my boys was most excited for. The other twin has been asking me every day this last week if I had found him Zook.

We went to pay and my wife helpes a lady in front of us get an extra since they were only letting her get two. (We were only needing 3). I noticed the cashier tell the manager to put in the code to ring up Dragon's Peak. (I figured this confirmed what most have said that Dragon's Peak was not on the system to be rung up). They still rang it up.

I talked to my wife about getting an extra Dragon's Peak to resell to fund our $50 in Skylander for the boys but knowing how things are, we decided against it.

We left and I noticed they still had about 16 Dragon's Peak of the approximately 32 they had when they opened the doors. I drove my wife to a store next door and came back to see how things were going and look for some other stuff I collect.

I was surprised to find that all Dragon's Peak were gone and the only wave 4 figure left was an Ignitor. I got it for me to keep packaged. I find it a neat little figure and since the boys already had one from the 3Ds pack, I thought I'd get me one.

Saw some customers ask about Dragon's Peak...saying another employee had said they were being held behind the counter but they left empty handed. I didn't hear the conversation as I was walking out but I think that the manager realized they were not supossed to be sold and pulled them back. Cause I was gone for less than 5 minutes and the crowd had thinned out when we first left....no way 16 of them sold in 15 minutes when the 1st 16 took about 30 minutes to sell during the mad rush.

Sorry for all of you that missed out guys. Keep the faith and rest assured you are not the only ones that missed out....look at poor Grandmaster.....he still needs 2 of each. LOL

Michigan TRU in Pontiac had Zook and Lightning Rod but they are all sold out now of course....

No new ones at my both my local TRU's and none at walmart, Kmart, or Best Buy (South NJ). The one TRU had over 100 people in line and they were highly pissed off that no new ones hit the shelves.

I hit 3 TRU stores in Houston from 9:00-10:30am and all they had was a few (10-15) of the already released Skylanders. Only 1 store had about 10 of the Legendary Trigger Happy, but had the sign up for only 1 per customer. There are no new single or 3 packs to be had. Guess we'll just have to wait......

Nothing at Parma OH TRU except old guys.
Having my cousin going on a crusade for me to see when they come in because our store got no new ones, but hopefully they'll get some in soon, and in the least maybe she can reserve me a Drags Peak.

Spoke to ATVI, who said the 3/25 for Dragon's Peak is set by TRU not them.

This is looking like a PR nightmare for both TRU and Skylanders. I can't wait to read the hilarious comments on their facebook pages when I'm done with class.

okay...TRU in Everett, met a girl and her mom from the forums...nice meeting you two. I walked out with 5. 5 was the limit. Wasn't gonna go back in to get more after a half hour...and prevented scalpers by helping all the moms get their 5 of the new ones too. So everyone is set. I got 3 zook and 2 lightning rod. I will post a picture shortly. But it was a smooth event for me as I was first in line and had no problem getting what I wanted.

Hope everyone else there got theirs. Cheers to a good haul! Didn't grab an ignitor, but I have a feeling he will be more common than the other two. I gave moms about 25 of the zook and lightning rods to make sure they all got what they needed. I don't think the scalpers got too many at my store...maybe 15-20...probably screwing up a lot of their presales...hahah.

Ive never seen anything like this today. I saw parents pushing shoving and cussing bc they were limited to 5 each. Scalpers were pissed. Guess what? You idiots did this to yourselves now go by someone elses crap. Consumers are smarter and with releases like today they will not be denied by scalpers. Within 5 minutes the shelves were picked clean. I made sure I was first in line. I feel sorry for those with empty stores but those that arent willing to make sure they are first in line really can not conplain about them selling out. Im extremely happy with how today went. Now we wait again for wave 5. Lol

Could be a retailer or, and let's hope not, a TRU employee who's stolen their store's stock.

There's no way they would have sold 12 cases to one customer.

Everett had them...about 20-30 zook and lightning rod. They let us each get 5 figures. I went for 3 Zook and 2 Lightning Rod.

I helped the moms get theirs for their kids too...to prevent scalpers....I was first in the store, so that was sweet.

Only cost me an hour of my day, so I won't complain. Well worth the trip.

People complaining about 5 each? I would've been thrilled! 1 item per guest here. Missed out on Zook because of it. But, I can't complain *too* much. I was first in line and got to choose between Zook and Lightning Rod.

Not only that, it sounds like some stores got TONS of new figures and others got none.

If they had Bash single packs, then yes, they Zook and L. Rod.

Same thing at my store. It was pretty awkward because some people were looking forward to it.

So here in memphis I arrived at the tru on Winchester rd about 25 min before 10. About 4 people waiting. About 15 min before they open the crowd is getting bigger when low and behold the scalper arrives. How do I know he's a scalper? Because he is a fat beady eyed old perv that looks like he hasn't had a shower in a week. Everyone is real friendly waiting except the beady eyed perv. So nobody comes out and gives us a one per customer or 4 per customer limit. So it looks like it's a free for all. They open the door and beady eyed old perv pushes his way to the front of the line and grabs a basket and starts jogging. Now this is probably a sprint for beady eyes. He's focused and once he gets to the display starts grabbing all that he can. Multiple skylanders. Especially legendary trig. But there were plenty to go around so I got the ones I came for which was legendary trig zook and lightning rod. By the time I left they had a few hex and drill sergeant left. Completely wiped out in about 10 min. So if you see some new skylanders on eBay from Memphis give that fat ol perv a hard time. And if you're on these boards fat ol perv stay away from the churrens you beady eyed creep.

Man, after reading through everyone else's posts it seems I got lucky... I went to the Toys R U/Babies R Us at 3rd St. & Bell (Phoenix, AZ) about 10 minutes before they opened. There was a modest line forming, and all in all only about 20 people were there for skylanders. I was apprehensive after hearing about some disappointing situations for those further East, but had to try anyway. Well, we all got handed our tickets and once the doors opened proceeded in a (relatively) orderly line back into the electronics section.

There I was treated to a most beautiful sight: a large table was covered entirely in Skylanders singles packs, and not only were the three new releases sitting there, but a ton of previous waves as well! Man, I'm kicking myself for not bringing my camera! Anyway there were more than enough Wave 4 singles to go around (approximately 12 of each in two "rows" of 6 on the table), and after getting back in line 3 times I now have Zook, Lightning Rod and Ignitor! Everyone left happy and there were still some wave 4s sitting there when I left... no DP's though, not even on display. I was told this Sunday they'd have another "get in line and get a ticket" event for them though.

I mentioned the problems I read about here with other Toys R Us's to the employees, who merely shrugged.

So it seems there are some Toys R Us locations that got it right... too bad they're in such a pitifully small minority...

Im so mad right now. I got to TRU a half hour early and was third in line. Mine was one single pack per person. So i rush back there when they open and they only have wave 2 and 3! I had it all and that made me really mad since I waited in the cold for a half hour! They did not even have l rod or zook! All i wanted was zook! So im looking closely for one that i dont have and i notice that they have like 70 dragons peak out. So i grab one and i am looking at it and admiring it and im not mad anymore becasue I got dargons peak. But then an employee yanks it out of my hand and starts screaming "Dragons Peak is not for sale! Give them all to me!" Im like WTF! Well, i got so mad i stormed to the counter and complained so they let me put my name down to have one reserved for me. But i am still really mad that i have to go back on sunday! Grrrr

I lucked out with a Zook and Lightning Rod from the Everett Toys'R'us. There was a line but it wasn't as bad as I expected and there weren't any tickets. The limit was five per costumer.

I had no luck. I was 5th in line, but apparently our store only had two Zooks and two Lightning Rods. Does that even make sense? They were snatched up in seconds. They had a large selection of old figures...but 2 of Zook and Lightning Rod doesn't add up. I am very disappointed.

Thanks. I was there as third in line and I got a clear view of what was on the table. Single Bash took up at least two metal pegs on the wall, which hold about 7-8 singles each, and there were six or so of single Bash on the table.

But only 4 each of Wave 4. Go figure.

It rang up just fine, I don't know where that rumour of it being released on 3-25 came from. That was the only 4th wave thing our Toys-R-Us had today.

How do you know this? Our TRU received Bash, Chop, Drill and one other. No new ones.

I called around and another store in the area received the exact same assortment and no new ones as well.

So it looks like west coasters won this battle. I got 3 zook and 2 lightning rods! So ecstatic right now! My nephew is gonna be a happy camper!

You are lucky because it would not ring up. Someone probably entered the item in the system manually to allow it to be sold because almost all of the stores did not have the item in their system.
