How many people are super Psyched about tomorrow? ON a scale post 1-10 (1 being the best, 10 the worst) and Who of Zook L Rod and possibly Sunburn, are you most excited to get? Post, Tell why you want them and why you like them.


I honestly don't care is Dark52 does close this post but I just want to see the Excitement brewing inside others. I got the joy of making this post on a great board of really cool people ( and some immature).

I'm going to get myself my favorite thing:

Disappointment!

No, seriously, I'm dreading the heck out of tomorrow with all these reports of tickets and only Zook and L-Rod single packs.

I would say a 5 out of 10 because I'm kind of excited but on the other hand, I feel like I'm going to come out empty handed. I'm looking for the three pack with Zook, Lightning Rod, and Cynder but I don't think it will be there tomorrow since the event is for the singles.

The ticket thing seems stupid to me, and If my TRU in Canton Ohio limits one per customer my parents and I devised a plan. They will go while I am at school and they will walk in at doifferent times pick up whichever single and go to 2 different checkouts. sounds fullproof, but I tyhink Dissapointment will shroud me if they come back empty.

Let's see...

-Probably won't be able to go to the store tomorrow, even if I need to (there's other things I need besides Skylanders).
-I don't have a TRU near me, I have to go out of my way to get to it.
-By the time I get to the store, they'll all probably be completely gone. I'll get there by 4:30 due to living in country and school. Yeaah, probably won't get any.

But I do want Zook, Sunburn, and Lightning Rod a whole lot (yes I know about Sunburn before anyone says it), plus Ignitor single pack and all.

^ What do you mean by "Don't have any of those."? They give you a ticket in line because it's proof that you were in line and have priority for a figure over someone who just walks in that didn't wait. So don't be worried about having one by the time of day that you're coming, you shouldn't need one by then, it's only for the long lines to insure that someone doesn't try to purchase more then they should.

I have spring break and I live near a TRU so I am going. But will every store have "tickets" and what are they?

^ Not all Toys'R'us stores are doing the tickets or the event but I don't know which ones will and will not be participating, sorry. Your best bet is to call them ASAP so you know what's going on with your store. The tickets are what I listed in my above comment. They are given to you in-store while in line to prove that you waited in the line and didn't just walk in. This also stops people form purchasing more then they should. Some Toys'R'us stores are going to limit only one per costumer and others as much as four so this event seems to vary depending on how popular it's going to be in your area and how many people they're expecting to attend.

Yeah? well my mom is going to pick me up from school during 3rd period (I don't do much in there and I have an A in there so yeah) when my TRU opens at 10 so in case they have the ticket thing I can get one and my mom can get the other one and in case Dragon's Peak is there we will take my dad.
If it turns out they have the cynder triple pack and DP I will go with my mom.

Unfortunately, I have nothing to look forward to. Both TRU's in my area stated that they don't have any new Skylanders and that DP isn't released until the 25th. I'm lucky enough to have all the current characters and adventure packs, so no need to leave work.

Excitement level is off the charts.

I haven't played Skylanders since last month.

i just want me some lightning rod. ever since i opened the glorious present known as skylanders at christmas i looked at the poster and the one that really stuck out to me was lightning rod. so if they only allow one per customer...lightning rod is my homeboy. if they allow more than that...my wife will kill me

Not sure how early I should head to my TRU.

They open at 10:00am, and I was told the last time they got a large shipment in like this/had a promotion there were lines.

Was thinking of leaving at 9:30 (it's literally a 5 minute drive), but I'm honestly not sure if how bad it's going to be. Just got into the game about 2-3 weeks ago.

I'd love to go and get Dragon's Peak if they have it and Lightning Rod if they don't, but I sadly don't have a TRU near me and won't be able to get to it, since I can't ask my mom to take me an hour away to get a toy that will hopefully be findable in a month or so, especially not on a weekday. You might find it a little crazy if in case a crowd shows up @ your local TRU before store opening and unless you've done this before then it might not be worth it. I'm a collector like some of the members here so I have the urge to get the latest ones out as soon as they come out.

I have all 4 legendaries, and all characters besides the unreleased ones. Tbh I collected like crazy here in NJ, then when I went on Spring Break to Chicago, I managed to increase my collection ten-fold. I will admit I had a weak moment and used ebay/amazon for two characters (Prism Break/Voodood -- They're IMPOSSIBLE to find in stores), but the rest have been Target, Walmart, Gamestop, TRU, etc.

I consider myself a pretty moderate collector. The only Skylanders I won't even bother with (unless I get lucky and come across one) are the 3 Silver/3 Gold Special Editions, and the Metallic Purple Cynder. They're too expensive if you don't find it yourself, and ridiculously rare from what I gathered. That and I don't really care for the characters special-figurine look if they just stay the same in game. I guess in that aspect I'm not as hardcore when it comes to collecting.

But yeah, I consider it worth picking up L-Rod and Zook, it's just the first time I'm doing this and I'm not exactly a morning person. I have classes and work at night, and I'm usually just heading to bed around 4-5am, not waking up until mid-afternoon. That's why I'm skeptical on when to get up. I can do 9am, but 8am, or 7, etc is a little much. I quite literally just have no idea how crazy it's going to get. I feel like since it's on a weekday in the morning it wont be THAT bad, but we'll see.

That plan will fail.

All TRU's have a table ready for the event. You get your ticket, go to the table, pick your ONE Skylander, and move along. So if you attempt to go back in, you will be met by the same person who will remember each customer.

Are all TRU for sure doing the ticket event? I asked my TRU and they said no..

im almost done with wave 4 but im still on the hunt for dragons peak because i REALLY want sunburn

True.... However the one my grandma is going to has a lot of Asian people, and I don't mean to offend anyone, but I think becuas they are known to be smart and all that other stuff, they won't be there and there won't be a big line until after school. I've heard Asian parent are very strict on there kids going to school. Again I don't mean to be stereo typical or anything.
