I sent you 2 or 3 PMs about what I was doing wrong and never got a response. I never would have known that you deleted some of my posts had someone not told me. This is no way to run a board. If you delete someone's post due to whatever reason, take the time to PM them with an explanation of why.
You also have to listen to your members. If they are clamoring for a post to be stickeyed, do it. I have noticed as of late that there are more stickeys than before. While this is an improvement, more work can be done here.
You need to get a moderator. You should really have atleast 2 on the site. This place is just too large for just one person to manage. You may have a control issue and do not want to share it. Honestly, there are plenty of things that get swept under the rug because no one was available to moderate it. Having more than one set of eyes on the forums at all times will ensure that things do not get out of hand.
Personally, suspending me for asking a new user to use the search feature is as low as it gets. I cant believe that that incident was the final straw for you. You may not like me, and I certainly do not like how you handle things here. But lets be honest, asking a new user to use search is not flaming by any definition of the term. New users should be made to get familiar with the board and all of its features and functions. Using the search is far more beneficial than creating a new topic about something that has been posted about in 4 other threads. People get more than just annoyed answering the same damn question several times a week. So if asking a new user to use search is flaming, then this site is totally not for me.

Because they have explanation on why is deleted. You get them.

While I do understand what you mean. The topic may need a very powerful reason to be a stickie. A topic that can has reason to last. Like the one that has returning users and leaving users. Is something that happens a lot. So instead of having 20 topics about a user coming or leaving, there will be only one of this topic. That's something that requires a stickie.

I agree. Dark needs to take time to find a moderator that will do what has to be done. Even if he doesn't like it, he should have at least 2 or 3. But its something that needs patience, since you have to make sure you don't make a mistake on choosing the wrong modetor.

I would like to say to at least think about mods. I like the site and I wanna see people feeling satisfied. You're doing a good job but you need to have some people to help you with the site. At least hold it with you so you don't have too much trouble with the site. I don't mean to cause a negative image to you or anyone on this site nor I plan to. So if you don't like what I say I apologies.

According to Prysom (banned user), Dark is a good coder. Now, I do, however, agree that Dark does need mods. I've noticed how he pays more attention to the Skylanders section and the site polls. He can't handle it all. He needs a mod or two to help him out. And if that moderator does something like have their power go over their head or if they don't do their job, Dark can just use his almighty hammer of justice to remove that moderator status.
Now here's where I get serious even more.
You know how I mentioned Dark being a good coder, according to Prysom? Well, before I knew this, I thought the site would need 5 mods, or even two mods for each section. But ever since Prysom mentioned he was a good coder, first thing I thought of- or, rather, FEARED- was how he could easily get rid of someone after they are banned. As Prysom mentioned, he gives banned users one last chance with a backup account. If they fail once again, he doesn't give them anymore chances, and it's a perma-ban for them. Even with proxies, Dark can track them down with his bot. As far as what the DarkSpyroforumswiki says, Dark has banned a user, King P, everytime she wanted to return. I even witnessed one of her accounts being banned myself, and was told who this new user really was. Since I'm in darkSpyro's Skype group, I was told about past events and users, and about CAV's little fight with Dark about mods.
And, according to other users, Dark moderated better back when this site was first started.
Also, you can check your moderated messages in your settings. You aren't PM'd.

That is my point. If you don't know to check them on a habitual basis, you will never know. Atleast when you get a PM, there is some form of notification.
How in the world are you supposed to correct your actions if you are never told that your actions are going against the norm? I'm not committing murder or anything that involves morals, so how am I supposed to know what is accepted and not accepted? This site might be frequinted by little children and some things may be innapropriate, but this is the internet. Just about anything goes. If kiddos arent supposed to know where little horses come from, then there is a bigger problem with animal planet or discovery channel. If asking new users to use the search feature is so wrong, then why on earth is there google?

I swear to god Monsinour is my favorite new user. This is one of the best posts I've seen all year. You essentially summed up most of what I don't like about Dark's administration skills in one post.
The lack of notification is a problem, yes. Especially for the more serious of moderations. It is something I hope to correct soon.
