I beat the game with the original three skylanders, but I HAD to buy skylanders of each element so I could collect all the hats... (and then bought more once I got hooked) but what are they going to do with the elemental gates in "Giants"? Add more hats? or will there be something else fun to collect? (if this topic was brought up already, I'm sorry. I did some searching and couldn't find the topic)

I'd hope they make the hats look sensible on the characters. Some of them are kinda hilarious on them. In the Giants 3DS game, I hope they'll actually be worth something, and of course the cross platform ones able to be registered on other consoles.

From the one gameplay trailer we saw, the TreeRex went into an underground chamber. It wasn't really big, but it looked like there was a lot of treasure there. We'll have to wait and see what sort of things are being changed (as in, completion for the level like chests, hats, etc) though.

Personally, I'd like a few more hats, but not another entire haberdashery.

Which begs the question, if they have new hats in Giants, what happens when you then use a fig wearing that hat in the original game?

HAHA!!!! thats awesome! but seriously, is there any ideas to replace hats? honestly they cant come up with another 30 hats.... they had to start digging deep to make that work. Anvils? flower pots? big alien eyeball things? what else could they come up with that would upgrade stats? shoes would be tacky, cant really do clothing.... idk... maybe little power ups? i have no clue. I think a lot of ppl in this forum should actually work for TFB cause a lotta things said make tons on sense. So lets hear ideas cause im stumped.... Smashed! ..... Sorry been hangnin around kaos too long with the lame jokes (lava lakes railroad for those that dont get it)

Use of a period after a contraction when the last letter of the contraction is the same as the last letter of the full word is archaic.

Hence, Dr is fine.

Except it's not a contraction, it's wordplay. The name comes from the question "Doctor? Doctor Who?". They don't call him "Dr. Who", just "The Doctor".

Also, I'd like to see Sherlock Holmes' hat in Giants.

Pedantry aside, Dr is a legitate contraction of doctor and is perfectly understandable to the average person - please don't react as if no one has ever abbreviated something they typed in a forum message.

Yes, it is, but the word itself in "Doctor Who" is not contracted. I'm not reacting as if the contraction is wrong for the word doctor, just for the name of the show.

Just because TV guides do it, doesn't mean it's right.

See, I'd like some sort of accessory on the Skylander. Like a jet pack, a little helicopter thing. Maybe a gauntlet or something.

I like to make each Skylander unique, and the hats help, but I'd love for them to be fully customizable. Maybe a way for us to plug our money into post game. The accessories would also increase their strength or do other things.

thats what i was hopin in the first one but then i found out there were only hats
