No official name has been released as of this time. When one is I am sure the Giants Sticky will be updated.

No official name yet.

Common fan names made by fans are 'Eaglegun', 'Sgt. Eagle', and 'Twister', and unfortunately those fans are trying to pass them on as being the 'official' name for the eagle Skylander.

Vacbird, Jetstream, and Sky Diver are actually pretty cool names... Kinda wish they woulda had a fan vote on the name since they decided to show us what he looks like but no name....

That reminds me of the time where Sunburn was called Featherdragon and Camo Leafdragon....
But these names for the uAS (unnamed Air Skylander) are pretty cool.
I hope he's the new Skylander that will come with the Starter Pack

I was the one who jokingly said he reminded me of Sgt. Byrd in the first topic we had for him.

What we need to do is jokingly call him something rather than "unnamed Air Skylander" every single time we talk about him. Like with Pokemon; only the really close minded purists called Snivy "Tsutarja" until we got his official English named. So most of the fandom nicknamed him "Smugleaf".

Given that he looks incredibly close to a Eagle, Ima call him "Airgle".

Herp. I meant to post the pic of him from the Nintendo Power scans.

You know what's really odd? The article refers to him as a giant. I know we've seen the regular figure of him, but he has the Air Element pretty predominant on him, something that no regular Skylander has. (Whereas Tree Rex has the Life Element ingraved into his forehead)

He looks really cool here though.

I have seen him on a portal in a pic, I cant find link but I have a cropped version saved on my comp, he is the same size as Alchemist and alot smaller than Tree Rex.

He doesn't look like Sgt. Bird at all. Sgt. Bird is a penguin and the air Skyalnder does more look like a eagle or a hawk or a falcon.
But maybe he will be given a similar name. We just don't know.
