Is it just me, or does the remodelled Cynder for Skylanders Giants look a bit weird, with her chest puffed right out? I wish that they'd change it, seeing as I love Cynder, I just hate the new, remodelled version.

They are just remodeled. They won't have anything new or special.

It's just an overly large breastplate. Her in-game model looks like that already, so really, the redesign is more to make her not look quite as derpalicious as the regular one looks.

Thus far, the Zook one looks to be better sculpted as well, so they're probably going back and doing characters that have average looking sculpts.

Kappa/Aura...what the Hell. Why are you guys being so bitter. No kidding he doesn't have to buy it if he doesn't want it. They simply wish to discuss the design of the model. What is wrong with these boards? The level of aggression and overall bitterness here is one of the worst boards I've ever seen. Especially when you consider this is for a kids game. Yes I know if I don't like it I don't have to read it...blah blah blah. Eat some more fiber, go hug a loved one (in some cases I'm sure you need a hug), just try and be a little more friendly if at all possible.

To be on topic I kind of like the new pose. It looks like she's going to use her breath attack on whoever is in front of her.

I think the new cyner is cool, more action ready. Just a shame about the chest...

The pose essentially shows me that she does have breasts, and nobody can really argue that with me. Otherwise, I imagine her having different moves, but nothing that would make me want to buy the toy again, especially when I have no intention on buying Giants in the first place.

When you Skylanders fans stop being so thin-skinned, maybe you'll realize that we aren't being harsh, more than we are just sick and tired of immature users, and that we're simply calling them out on their mistakes so they can improve and therefore become better users.

That's what I went through when I first came around.

Also, yes, this is a kids game. But the majority of people that are fans of the game that joined this site are teens and even adults. People that should know how to deal with "bitterness" on websites, in the sense of ignoring it, or taking the criticism and improving themselves.

Reminds me of a time on FaceBook when a few Skylander fans called me 'rude' when I was just pointing out the facts when a child mistook the fake Dragon Giant picture for something official and another child thought a fanart piece of the Chinese Dragon Skylander and its fan name given by the original artist was 'official'. And some fans got all defensive at me and claimed that I was being rude that I kept 'criticizing' the people who didn't read the details from where they got the pictures from.

Well yeah, you're criticizing them. But they deserve it.

In what way were you discussing the topic? Yes I did snap. I just am mystified by how some of you just seem to go into a thread looking for some way to correct/point out the obvious in a thread where your post doesn't contribute a thing. This is simply the thread that finally drove me nuts, but you have to know what I'm talking about overall.

I hate to say it but that is truly a specious point to make and only serves to make you sound juvenile. Of course the poster did not literally mean every picture but consciously used hyperbole to emphasise a point.

Anyway, back on topic, I actually like the remodel but can see why others do not.

EDIT: Criticism is a good thing and helps people develop and grow. However criticism is only useful when it is constructive. Like it or lump it, Monsinour got gnorced for criticising and the perceived sarcastic element to his responses (sure, it was the final straw but it was why get got suspended).

I do understand that you've had to endure some crazy/rude Skylander fans on these boards. They seem to forget that this is after a Spyro Forum first that also happens to discuss Skylanders even though Skylanders has a very loose connection to Spyro. I also understand that some criticism is necessary when people get out of hand (and they do) I just don't think that happened here. Spyro fans and Skylander fans seem to be in a kind of awkward state on these boards. Spyro fans seem to forget that not all of us have played or really care about the Spyro universe. While some Skylander fans seem to forget that this is a Spyro fan site facilitating a Skylanders board since Spyro is technically in the game. They also seem to forget that Spyro fans saw Skylanders as a possible resurrection of their beloved franchise and were disappointed when that wasn't the case. Both sides need to give each other a little slack is all I'm saying.

I like Cynder's new pose. More active and more aggressive. It represents well the character I think.

lol thanks but no. Again I don't see where this thread started as a breast obsession thread. All that's mentioned is that they don't like the fact that the breast is all puffed up and the pose itself. They never once asked if they should buy it. They simply referenced the sculpt. Saying don't buy it has nothing to do with the original discussion. I understand that the Cynder/Breast discussions got out of hand but I don't think that's the case here. Yeah, sorry for my part. All the negativity on these boards finally got to me. Just out of curiosity what you have liked to have seen as far as the pose goes? The only other thing I think they could have done might have been her in flight....Ohhhhhh or maybe a transparent Cynder using Shadow Dash...that would have been cool.

No, don't worry, I'm not genuinly furied. Anyway, I'm not really sure what I would have liked to have seen, I just liked Cynder's original pose and rather disliked her remodelled one. However, the flying pose sounds cool. Maybe they could have, like, one body part, like her tail or leg, on the base so that she could still balance there without having to have a stupid looking stand.

Fact is, the new game isnt being release til October? and not many skylanders left to be released, so one of two things are going to happen. This site will have a bunch of debates about little topics (like Cynders pose) or this site will die until more is released about Skylanders Giants. So kappapopm and Aura, if your gunna shoot down every little debate and simply say "dont buy it then" might as well let the site die for a few months.

This site didn't die since its creation and is not alive because of Skylanders you know. The site was existing before Skylanders and will after as well.

Sorry, should have said that differently. I should have said, "the Giants message board should be put to rest for a while" people want to talk about the game because everyone is excited for it, but theres so little we know. People predicting names for new skylanders, predicting the giants.... even debating on the poses. So I dont think theres any reason for people to say "dont buy it" to end the topic. Were going to have a bunch of topics like this....

I kinda like her remodlled version.
I already have Cynder but just cuz of the fact I really like Cynder I'm thinking about buying her new version tho. I think she looks kinda cool

I believe that's a job for the moderators not it's members. The members don't need to police threads that might go a stray. If certain members post inappropriate content it will be removed by the mods. and the appropriate parties will be notified of their violations. Let's not assume the worst every time Cynder's name is mentioned. Also that was not the O.P.'s intent for this thread.

Too many times I have seen certain members mis-construe/mis-read/mis-interpret a post and then jump down the poster's throat.

Channelling thate enthusiasm a tad may well be sagely advice...

Then if a post is not conforming to policies, try to use that fount of enthusiasm to offer guidance and constructive advice rather than "shoot it down in flames" (which, in turn, leads to defensiveness in the poster and more likely to cause further degeneration).

Did you even read my posts? I have actually discussed the O.P.'s topic multiple times. Have you? Please read before posting. If you had read any of my posts my stance on "if you don't like it don't post" was directed at the people that were worried that this was another "Cynder's Breast" debate.
