Yesterday in Best Buy I found a Gold Flameslinger, I can't decide whether I want to keep it or sell it on ebay. My friend thinks it looks tacky being solid gold & says I could use the extra cash. What would you guys do?

I would sell it because I don't really care for Gold and silver

Sell it, whatever you don't open it. It'll get over $100 easy, and the next wave is about to come out!

I'm not a collector, so I wouldn't keep it. I'd sell it. You'd probably get a lot of money for it (even if you start the bid at $0.99) for yourself (heck, you could probably get enough selling it to get all Wave 4).
But it's all up to you. If you're a collector and like rare things I'd keep it.

I am a collector so I would save it but if you don't care or want some cash then sell it.

You could always just hold it until Giants comes out.

If you do want to sell it, wait a few months. If the silvers are any indication, the prices you're seeing now are merely the tip of the iceberg. $100 might seem nice now, but perhaps you could get triple that by waiting.

If you sell it, you could buy more Skylanders.

Hmmm tough one. I happen to love Flameslinger so this would be a tough decision. I would most likely sell though.

Sell it, then buy another Flameslinger and spraypaint him gold using Tamiya Lacquer or a brush-on acrylic gold. Don't use enamel, it will melt your figure and remain tacky forever.

I'd personally hang onto it until I saw wave 4's variant, then trade for one of those or sell it.

Sell it! The cash u would probably get from it could get u TONS of skylander

If YOU don't like it, then I'd ultimately sell it, so that you can buy more Skylanders or things that you do like, but if you like it, then you should keep it. I also like Okaps advice, hold onto it for trading purposes that may arise in the future.

It could be the opposite as well. It depends of if the hype gets bigger around Skylanders or not.

It sounds like you think it may look tacky, so I would sell it based on that assumption.

I'm a collector, however my first instinct would be "OMG HOW MUCH CAN I GET FOR THIS?!" There is no difference in-game between regular Flameslinger and Gold Flameslinger...in all honesty I'd probably sell it if the price was right (nothing under $75).

My son would probably never allow me to sell it though, haha!

Seeing how another gold Flameslinger is currently being bid on for $108 on Ebay, I'd sell it.

You could make a good amount of money. Although it really all depends on whether or not you're a collector.

To sort of parrot what everyone is saying, if you don't care for having it in your collection, sell it. If you do, and yore a collector, keep it.
