Obviously, Elijah Wood's not going to voice him. If he's going to talk in cutscenes, he may have Josh Keaton be the voice of Spyro again.

I'd honestly rather have Josh be the voice of Spyro over Elijah.

Too bad he only voiced Spyro in the game, and not the commercials.

You are saying the person who voiced Spyro in the Skylanders commercials and the guy who voiced Spyro in the actual game were different VAs? (I never played the game.)

Also why is it obvious that Elijah would not voice Spyro in a new game? (Not talking about a new Skylanders.) Do you know something I don't?

It's not like Spyro is forgotten forever. A classic Spyro platformer is bound to surface one day.

Elijah would once mentioned back in 2008 that he isn't attached to voicing the Spyro character. And did you forget that Skylanders is a reboot of the Spyro series? Different universe, different Spyro, different voice actor.

He didn't say he didn't like voicing Spyro, he just said he's not officially attached to voicing him.

You say that as if it's a shock. Majority of the time, people will work on a project as an actor/voice actor and then regret it two years later. They can't say they hated it whilst they were doing it, because the pay is all that matters, but once that's out of the way they'll criticize all they want. I'm not saying this is true for Elijah Wood, but I'm just saying that it is true for a lot of people so the possibility of someone not enjoying a role shouldn't be so much of a shock.

I suppose that is true...I will still remain hopefully optimistic on the matter...his voice matches Spyro so well.

It might be too late for Tom Kenny to voice Spyro once again, he may be a lot older now so his voice might not be as good as it was back in the 90's. I can tell from this that as people get older their voices change and sometimes they can't get a specific voice that they want back again, take Paul McCartney for instance, he was a great singer back in the 60's, 70's and 80's, but when I saw him perform live back in 2007, he completely lost his voice that he had before. (He can still play that bass though) Do you see my point?

Well, they were meant to release a PSN version of the first 5 Crash games (1, 2, 3, Bash and CTR) labeled '15th Anniversary Edition'. I don't know what happened to it, because it was never released.

Most of this is speculation based on a rumor, i didnt even hear about this until this thread...

I want this to be real.

Zaris, not everything will go the way you want them to be...

I would want Classic Spyro game with home worlds, gems, etc... And of course with classic characters (Moneybags, hunter...). And I don't want Cynder.
