if you are playing spyro 2 [or any ps1 spyro game for that matter] put in a disc of a different game while ones playing and it starts playing music from the game [the sound affects still work though].

Nah, I wouldn't try it. It might corrupt my PlayStation 2.

It works for other games too. It certainly doesn't corrupt your console, all it does it try to read from the disc. I used to have fun with that, sometimes even discovering hidden tracks on certain games

I should try this one day.... Did you also know that when playing a game, it loads more data than you're actually using at the time? It loads enough data for you to continue playing the game a good 6 seconds after taking the game out.

one time i did that at the title screen of spyro 1 and it started playing colossus music

Yeah, I've done that! Sometimes even NPC characters will get a random voice from the new disc.

When i was younger, I often replaced disks mid-game. My PlayStation get corrupted, but luckily I already had new PS2

Just talk to an npc while the opposite disk is in.

I've done that too many times to risk it again
