It's Wrecking Ball, Hex and Dino-Rang

The ebgames at bayshore shopping center Ottawa On. got 3 boxes in today, one box of eoi, and the rest singles. No cynders the manager said it is strange because today is the official release date of cynder and he hasnt seen a single one so he has no idea. He also said they are no longer allowed to take preorders on adventure packs the system wont even allow them now .

I am planning on checking 2 tru, and best buy later tonight.

Checked best buy, both tru, and 1 walmart and no figs, just starters, and tru had lots of the circular cloth landers storage cases.

No Cynders, though to be honest I'm not really actively seeking her out. I'm just going for sealed singles of other Skylanders. I figure if Cynder really is the most in demand character right now, I probably shouldn't even bother looking for her at this point since I would only be getting her to complete the collection. I don't really want her that bad, and considering how much negative response I've heard about her in the 3DS game, (the one I primarily play) it's not like she's an absolute MUST have for me.

However the EBGames closest to me DID have some singles of Skylanders, and I was able to pick up a Zap.


This is significant in two ways. It marks the first time I've seen a single of Zap since Christmas, and it marks the first time I've seen ANY singles at the EBGames closest to us since Christmas. They've had some 3 packs and adventure packs, but never any singles.

Thanks. You actually can't buy Billy Hatcher plushies as far as I know. I got it custom made for me by someone online who took commissions to make high quality home made plushies. It was expensive, (about 120 bucks) but highly worth it. Too bad she doesn't do commissions anymore. She made REALLY impressive plushies. : (

Just came back from eb games no cynder yet :-(
But i did however pre order new resident evil 3ds aswell as the 3ds dual analog stick. I know it's gonna make it a bit more heavier and bigger but you really do need it.It's needed for gaming now a days.At least the movements on the 3ds will feel alot better.Anyone else gonna be picking that up for your 3ds?

No Skylanders in stock today, but I did pick up a Skylanders poster at Toys R Us. : )

I live in British Columbia, Canada.

Here in the states, they're commonly at Walmart stores. I've never actually looked at the posters in TRU, but I suppose they probably would be there too.

Nice cartoon set DinoHex. I'm A huge cartoon and rare box set collector myself. I have so many don't have any place to put them all LOL.I need to buy like a really big display case or something right now there all in cardboard boxes. My latest purchase was the complete rambo cartoon set. I never even knew there was a rambo cartoon and i'm 30 years old.Can't wait to watch them.

Thanks. Powerpuff Girls and Batman The Animated Series are two of the best cartoons ever. You can't see the Dilbert animated series box set in that pic, but it's there, and it's my favourite television show ever.

No Skylanders today, but that's to be expected since it's Saturday. Really I'm mostly just looking for a sealed single of Dino-Rang at the moment. If I come across anything else, that's good too, but a sealed single of Dino-Rang is top of the list right now. (though a single of Cynder or Stealth Elf would be better)There's one guy selling a sealed Dino-Rang on Craigslist for 20 bucks, and while it's tempting, I'm gonna keep going with my quest of never buying Skylanders anywhere other than brick and mortar stores.

I love the 90's batman animated series i have the sweet dvd collectors edition with art book and tons of extras. Those are my favorite ones to buy ones with lots of extras. Like the transformers cartoons matrix edition very cool aswell. Man i can't wait to have a man cave so i can dispaly all my stuff. I hate having it all in boxes. Gamemasters room is very very sweet. Oneday

Just not much skylander news to report in Canada i wish there was. Still no sign of cynder or stocked shelves here yet. When is the rest of the world gonna be seeing what the states have had for a month now.

I was out a bit yesterday and today and also nothing new ebgames had a couple older (wave1) singles.

Has anyone seen singles of Whirlwind, Double Trouble or Drill Sergeant in Canada yet? I know that the 3 pack is out there, but has anyone managed to find singles of them? I really want singles of and for the collection.

I dont think yu can get a in a single pack, Because the single pack was an exclusive to target.

No, you can get single Whirlwinds in wave 3. She's not exclusive anymore. Same with Drill Sergeant. He was originally Wal-Mart exclusive, but now in wave 3 he's available to everyone.

^Can you really get her as a single tho??? Maybe just together with the triple pack is available?

EDIT: The weekend is over! Back to the hunt! Second Empire of Ice and single of Dino-Rang, I'm on the lookout once more! If I can eventually find a second Empire of Ice, I can finally open the one I have. Slam Bam is so cool, (no pun intended) but I can't bring myself to open it yet because I want one for the sealed collection, and I may never find another one for a really long time. On the other hand when it comes to Empire of Ice, I'd feel really guilty buying a second one just to hang on the wall when I know so many other people are genuinely looking for it. Moral dilemma. :S

I finally found the Whirlwind Triple pack today!! Last of our collection, the hunt is over. For now anyway....

This was at Costco in Ajax, Ontario btw, they had an assortment of about 40 or so triple packs as of 1:00pm.

Cynder was from the Amazon.com preorder. I haven't seen her up here yet.

How did you get a preorder form Amazon.com. I thought all canadian residents wernt allowed to purchase unless it's an independant seller.

I don't really know how it worked out. I originally ordered them to my PO box in Niagara Falls. But someone posted in this thread actually that they were having Cynder shipped here. So, I went in to the order and sure enough was able to switch it to my Canadian address. I ordered two, one for my son and one for his buddy. It came to $26ish for the two of them after ship/tax.

I also ordered the Whirwind triple pack from there, but they never shipped. Guess I should go in and cancel it.

I'm in Calgary and I've seen nothing. The last time I call Best Buy they said they were getting a large shipment in they ended up with 2 figures and 6 Moms. Somedays it's easier to walk away! It's getting harder to explain to my daughter why the shops don't have any figures when she needs them to play the game.

Yeah I checked tru monday and they said they got a few last week, but I havnt seen any anywhere. I check walmart when we go grocery shopping and my wife still checks at ebgames when she goes into work but nothing in the last couple days.

I got my Cynder yesterday.....went through e-bay though.

$24.00 + $6.00 to ship........ ouch!!!! That is the average price for her on e-bay right now between $30-$40.
Also got the soft carry case!!! I should have bought it when I originally seen it at Toys R Us!!!

Have been checking all my local stores and there is nothing???? Not even EOI or any new characters lately!!!!

Yeah still nothing here either ebgames got nothing again today but both tru i check have had lots of those soft cases (the round ones that zip with pics of the landers on them)

The Toys R Us closest to me, which seems to be the best source for Skylanders lately, got a big shipment today. They had lots of singles of Eruptor, Hex, Wrecking Ball, Zap, Dino-Rang, and of course good old Boomer. They also had one of the Flameslinger three packs, TWO of the Stealth Elf three packs, lots of Darklight Crypt and Pirate Seas, and they had about six or seven Empire of Ice. They also had two of the Whirlwind 3 packs, but one of them was set aside for the cashier to buy for her kids, and I had the other one in my basket when a kid came up to the area, and I just naturally assumed he was looking for it. I took it out of the basket and handed it to him and said "by any chance are you looking for this?" and he was like "DRILL SERGEANT!!!" and got super excited, so I gave it to him to buy. I was only going to buy it to have it sealed, so there was no part of me that could justify not offering it to him. I'm glad the kid got what he was looking for. I only had $50 of Skylander money left, so I wasn't going to be able to get everything I needed anyways. I would have had to give something up, and that made it a lot easier to decide. I ended up buying an Empire of Ice, a single of Eruptor, and a single of Dino-Rang. It was very difficult deciding if I should buy one of the many derpy eyed Dino-Rang, or a normal looking one. I ended up going for a normal looking one.

Oh, they also had several of those carrying cases with Gill-Grunt, Whirlwind and a few others on the cover, but I'm not really interested in that.

No Cynders.

My wife just came back from toys r us whitby ontario canada. And she said there are at least 20 legendary triple packs on the shelf. GO GO GO!

haha...well he is happy. But you should have seen me bolt the second I read this. I was like 'come on kids, move it! we gotta get to TRU!' I'm ecstatic. I was just purusing kijiji before I came on here, and someone has a Legendary set for *only $90*, as opposed to some other nerd on there asking $200. Suck it scalpers!

That's just crazy. Nobody should have to pay those kinda prices for 20 dollar toys. Even $90 is pretty steep. But they are way cooler then the originals i think plus stronger.
How far do you live from whitby TRU?
And how many did they have left when you were there?

The toys r us on merivale road ottaw on. got legendary 3packs in today also but nothing else my wife grabbed the last one. She asked them about there shipping and they told her they dont get them on any specific day, last week they got them on friday and the week before was wednesday. The only thing for certian is they get 1 shipment every week. TRU now has a new policy only one 3 pack per family it is a sign they have posted in the electronics section, which I am glad to hear.

We just live in Brooklin, so 10-15 minutes. There were a ton still when I went....more than 20 for sure. That was at 4:30

Has anyone seen cynder in canada yet? I have her comming from ebay. But still want to know when we are gonna see her in the stores.
