Excited for the game but I'm not excited at the prospect of another Skylanders game releasing at the start of another holiday shopping frenzy...Really should have been a summer release.

Too early of a sequel, which is a bad sign. All the figures aren't even out yet for the first one.

But on the game itself, I'm interested to see what it will bring and see the new Skylanders. The gameplay looks similar to the first one, but who knows?

Oh I understand the fiscal reasons but it doesn't make me want a summer release over a holiday release any less. I also have to wonder if this franchise could break the summer release curse. Given it's target audience and them being on summer vacation and all...

No, I'm not excited about it. I can't see how a game which was developed 4 years (Skylanders:Spyro Adventures) gets remake/dlc/expasion set/new game/whatever after half year of preparation. What will suffer is gameplay, storyline, character design (I already think that first giant looks bad in comparison to small Skylanders), level design, toy quality. May Activision prove me wrong.

I'm pretty cool with this new game coming out. Whether it sucks or not, I'm generally going to enjoy it (It's how I got through TLOS's repetitive gameplay). As long as there's more replayability, then I'm cool with it.

Tree Rex looks utterly awesome!

I don't know if I want it. I'm a bit suspicious about how fast we've seen the next trailer. It's obvious that Activision is milking Skylanders to get as much money as possible from it.

It's still Spyro related. "Spyro's Adventure" was just a subtitle for the "Skylanders". Skylanders is the name of the franchise. It's the name the public know it best by and it's the name that's in the advertisements. Unless they completely take out Spyro, it's Spyro related.
