I was playing as trigger happy charging his coin attack and while I was doing it I fell and hit flavius the red dragon that is in dragons peak. I was by Persephone when it happened also of you go in the corner in between Persephones hut and the cliff (on the right) you can see his wing if you look to the Left of the screen!!!!! I'm guessing this is the area where dragons peak will appear

What you found is a glitch in the game. Its not surprising to find "hidden" characters within the game that act as triggers / markers / or what have you that will initiate a said function in a game.

I do think I know what you are talking about though, I believe one of our users here, has discovered the same thing a little while ago . . . now that I think about it I believe it was a couple of months ago.

No it is there....if you kinda go behind the fairy that gives you upgrades you will see it...

Yeah, we had actually had people post about it previously.

Certainly pretty cool, although not uncommon. Lots of games have things that are already pre-programmed but won't be activated until something else is "switched" on. From the screenshot in one of those threads, it looks like a lot of things are probably down there.

Hah. It'd be hilarious to get a copy of the game and accidentally see the ship that takes you to Pirate Seas. (Actually, what they should have done is had like boat ruins down there at the docks and then the ship would raise out of the water when you got Pirate Seas)

There is a glitch I can do often where you walk carefully at the middle part of the edge of the cliff to the left of Persephone that causes your skylander to fall off for a moment before getting teleported back up to land. During the fall you can see the red dragon just floating there behind the island.

Dragon's Peak.......? I've never heard of it or been there owo When do I get there? I'm at boss Kaos, can't beat him. Persephone I met, but not Flavius the red dragon

Dragon's Peak is an adventure pack. Its coming out this spring. It comes with Sunburn, a new chapter A.K.A (Dragons Peak, Sparx Dragonfly, and Winged Boots. Flavius is the NPC for Dragons Peak.

Well, the level entrance itself will appear on the small hill to the left of the fairy's hut, so I guess they keep the assets for the level introduction already loaded...

Inbetween Persethones building, and the boxes and vases (if you have beaten kaos they will be there) that are out by a tree(near a erea where a hot air baloon goes by) theres a small in-dent in the ground, If you run into it,the skylander should start sinking at little bit.if you keep doing that they will fall and youll see flavios

You have to walk along the cliff edge to the left of Persephone. I'm talking about that stretch of cliff between the ruin Persephone is standing in, and the trees and crates that are next to that raised bit of land off to the left. Anyway, find the spot in that reasonabley straight bit of cliff where it changes direction slightly: at that little "corner" where it changes direction, control your skylander to run up against it, then stop, then run again in the same direction, then stop, and repeat this "run then stop" action in the same direction. If you do it right then every time you do it your skylander should angle downwards and sink in to the ground bit by bit until eventually you fall off. You will briefly get a glimpse of Flavius floating in the air under the island before your skylander re-appears on the land.

Taking a screenshot wasn't working due to some technical reason so I made a diagram in MS Paint instead. I hope it helps.

will this work on the ps3 version? and with which character doing what?

I keep trying in the Wii version, including using Gil specifically, but I haven't been able to do it. Is it possible there?

I can do it easily on the PC version.

I think it can be done with any character so long as you aren't flying whilst trying to do it.

Make sure you always try to move at the right place, in the same direction, in small increments at a time. Make sure your character breaks in to a run each time you move, it doesn't work if you just walk.

I'd highly doubt they'd do that, even if they could. SOPA didn't pass, remember?

Still, some of Activision's staff recently joined on here. They browse through these forums, and if they see unreleased content, they will go the source and ask for the person who posted them to delete it.

And if they don't take it down what will happen? Is it that they will close the forum?

Unreleased is debatable haha. I mean, it IS there already.

They'd have to go down the original person though. I don't think thomas is the original creator of the photos, and even if he is, Activision couldn't do something without dark52 deleting the comment. Youtube is different, since as it's a company they can pursue legal action. To do so on here, a fan run forum, not to mention all the publicity from people spending cash on it would be dumb.

I often don't see eye to eye with Aura but this is a scenario with a precedent.

On another forum, a member posted hints on the possibility of reverse engineering to read figurine data. Note how I worded that, nothing concrete was published.

Activision not only sent a cease and desist to the author but the forum owner as well.

Put yourself in the forum owner's shoes for a moment - would you risk the wrath of a megacorp with lawyers on retainer or simply pull the site to avoid all further potential legal issues?

Posting how to "hack" and encode/decode figures is a bit more than posting a few screen shots of a soon to be released adventure pack.

Besides, how do we know Activision didn't release the images themselves to help stir up interest?

Because some hackers have been hacking into the PC version of Skylanders a lot recently, and been posting them on the web and posting videos on Youtube as well.

Activision hasn't even released anything yet on Dragon's Peak. This is the work of hackers.
