This unicorn pony is a famous jeweller from Canterlot, specialising in glass and metal shoes. The Glitter family has continued in this art for many generations. Even the first known member of the family, Golden Glitter, was said to have created the original horseshoes for Princesses Celestia and Luna themselves, before the time of Nightmare Moon.

I just like auroras in general, and it sounded a bit better then Australis, the Southern Lights.
