So I ordered or pre ordered rather the EOI set on Walmart.com and have a relative who ordered several copied for himself and children. As of Friday I called to check on the status and was told by several CS reps and 2 different managers that the Pre order has been cancelled for ALL EOI sets from Walmart.com The exact note for the item states " No stock industry wide, pre orders not fulfillable, cancelled". Payment was returned on 1/23/11 after some investigation.

I asked if I could just wait for it and the answer over and over was nope, the pre orders have all been cancelled and the item removed from the walmart.com orderable item list.

Just a heads up that if you pre-ordered EOI through WM you will NOT get it.

Maybe walmart had an arguement with Activision over supplies and decided to drop it for reals.

What's up with Walmart and Skylanders pre-orders? I pre-ordered Cynder, Double Trouble, Camo and Warnado from them a few months ago when they had them on their site and they sent me an email saying that my order has been delayed until June. When I recently asked them about my Cynder and Double Trouble order, they told me that there was " a glitch in the system" and it will be delayed until June also. I'm not going to order anything from Walmart ever again.

Don't know the reason but since it's all just business with Walmart I'm thinking supply isn't adaquate and so they cancelled all of them.

I was just at walmart. They had 4 eoi. This week flameslinger, prism break, drobot are flooding the stores. Need more wave 3 activation not those!

They're probably just getting tired of not having a concrete date for release/ not having a lot of stock in /tired of getting a million calls and messages a day about whether or not they have anything in store or online.

One of the Walmarts I visited yesterday had gotten a "new shipment" in, but it turned out to be Drobot/Flameslinger/Stump Smash/Prism Break/Voodood. I'd say to just keep looking around for one though. You'll find it eventually.

Call them and you'll be in for a surprise.. Mine also had a 1/30 delivery date ( also 1/13 pre order date). Called them on Friday and that's when I got the " none is stock, none expected, order cancelled" It's now an online order discontinued item. The reason your order sill shows open and valid is because it was a pre order so nothing to cancel technically except the reservation for a copy of one. Trust me, you will NOT get it as they are not shipping ANY out because they are all going to the retail stores. The 2nd manager actually told me after much venting ( by me) that over 22,000 pre-orders for this item were cancelled. Yes they had 22K in less than 24 hours! The kick in the balls is they won't let you know that it's actually cancelled until you press them. They will string you along for months first.

Just cancel the order manually and go to a retail store to buy one. You'll end up missing one if you wait for your never coming pre order.

Oh, and I was told that ALL singles pre orders will be cancelled too but not until June when the estimated delivery date has passed.

Mine was due on 2/2 and I got this email today (in part):

I just ordered from TRU a little more in price but better to have it.

I ordered from Walmart on the 12th and got the delayed email this morning. Im not taking the chance since its been stated above they will end up canceling it.

I got mine from GameStop.com so I just cancelled my Walmart order.

Wow, this is pretty sad. Walmart is being stupid.

I'm glad I didn't rely on them and ended up buying one from a physical store and cancelling my order weeks ago.

I'm sorry for everyone who got screwed over by them.

I canceled my order with walmart the day I got EoI @ target like 2 weeks ago. I just got a cancelation notice from walmart stating they are canceling my canceled order. WTF?

Did wallyworld just stop ties with activision or activision's distributor? This is beyond intriguing for me.

It's a bunch of poop as I haven't been going to stores looking for it...I hope my Amazon order for the drill/whirlwind/dt shows up. I pre-ordered that and cynder way back when and cynder showed up early but the triple pack was estimated january 25th-february 1st and it still has not changed status.

They canceled mine yesterday... after I already canceled it...

Well since my walmart order was cancelled and it doesn't appear that my amazon order will arrive on time I went looking after work today. 1 walmart, 1 target,1 TRU, 2 kmarts, and 4 gamestops. I came home empty handed.

I ordered 2 eoi from amazon last week (one for me and my daughter, one for my gf's 2 boys). i was going to give it to the boys as a gift this weekend, but turns out they ended up buying it for themselves. so, i can either ship it back or ale it at a reasonable price, say 26$? should cover shipping.
I wont get them until 2/2

EoI is stupid. The only good skylanders are chop chop and Terrafin.

Well the adventure packs are always good but nothing else. Just buy 3 skylanders in single packs and get the adventure paccks and the game will be a blast

So glad I canceled my pre-order for EOI from Wal-Mart and was able to get them online from Gamestop. However, I had Pirate Seas on pre-order & they canceled that too.

Im thinking something along these lines. Two Walmarts around me have removed the portals and have replaced the space that the figures used to be with wii accessories.

I was shopping at the wally world that I go to on an almost daily basis and saw someone futzing with a drobot. That was the first skylander I have seen in that store since 12/28/11. The display is still there and I was getting a tad worried that they were going to ditch the line.

I got my canceled email from Walmart yesterday. Starting to give up hope on Walmart. The TRU and Target both have had some since the first of thevyear but none at Walmart.

Everyone is getting cancellation emails exept for me. We'll see. I ordered it the first day it was availible.

WHAT! Amazon is starting this crap now too? WOW someone in Activision or Amazon better start getting there act togather. Or there is gonna be alot of angry people.

I think this is Activision who need to get their act together - if they aren't sending enough stock out, these stores can't get them to you guys

Agreed. Seems like a place that sells stuff on pre-order should have a REALLY good idea how much stock they will be receiving. I can't imagine that Wal-Mart would take 100,000 pre-orders of Cynder if they didn't know they were going to get 100,000 figures (just throwing numbers out there).

Sounds like Activision hosed them. And if that's the case, I can see why Wal-Mart would take the Skylander displays down. Wal-Mart plays hard ball with suppliers. You don't screw them over.

It might not even be that they don't know how much to send out, maybe they can't even make the figures fast enough.
