But back to Skylanders, you know, I don't think I've gotten one single character in an rl store. I've barely ever seen a character in an rl store. Everything has come from online. Must just be too many people around here that are into it.

Haven't been able to get any more Skylanders, because every time I go to Target or Walmart they are sold out.. TT__TT I even asked the electronics manager, and he said he didn't have a clue when more was coming in... My parents won't let me get an eBay account either, even though I'm 16.. /:

^ I didn't see his drawing but I like to think that there's no such thing as a "bad" drawing. Everyone has their own style and their artwork is unique in its own way. Artwork is also a form of expression and creativity, so I see everyone's artwork good in it's own way.

My family hopes that the dry spell will end in February. Online has been the only place we've gotten lucky and even then it's in trickles.

I was sure that by this time Amazon, TrU et al would have stock to burn for us online.

As far as brick and mortar stores are concerned, it's getting too depressing to keep searching by car in an outward spiral having nothing to show for it but a day wasted and a much lower gas gauge.

it would be nice if you actually can rent skylander figures to play on the CONSOLE and HANDHELD versions is this a good idea?

The other night I got my first character that wasn't in the starter pack; Drobot! I absolutely love him, I've maxed him up completely, he's my main skylander, and after I got him I played for hours.

I've been looking around for the characters but they're so hard to find! I got lucky when I got Drobot. Today I went to Toys R us to look, but all they had were starter packs and the pirate ship pack...I talked to one of the employees and they said that they had about 60 products that morning, but when I went around5-6 PM tonight they were all sold out!

I really want to get Sonic Boom. I also hope I can get a couple of Skylanders for my birthday.

Ouch next time come earlier or go to work early and while you drive or walk to work rush into toys r us and they should have more skylanders.

I definitely would if I could! I'm not at a legal driving age though, sadly, and I don't think I'm determined enough to get on a bus across town by myself. Apparently though they were going to get more in stock tomorrow, hopefully, and my mother said she'd check by for any I was interested in after she works since it's on her way home.

Sonic Boom was the one that I wanted the most, but was only in a three pack, but there was only one left! She got the last one. I was happy enough to get one, but then she got ANOTHER three pack with it! I feel very special. So my new Skylanders are Sonic Boom, Stealth Elf, Hex, Wrecking Ball, Dino Rang, and Zap! So far I've use them all except for Wrecking Ball. I only have used Sonic Boom and Zap outside of element gates, though, trying to upgrade and level a couple at a time until I go into battle with Kaos.

Yep. So far I've gotten Sonic Boom to level 6 and Zap to 3! I'm hoping to get them all to around 6-8 at least! I even love replaying the levels...all the attacks and elements and everything make every time different.

I didn't get the 2 adventure packs I was talking about. The price went up to like $100.00! The only Skylanders that I don't have from Wave 1 is Darklight Crypt Adventure Pack and Drill Sergeant!

You wont believe what I got today! I went to Big W and I got single packs of Drill Sergeant, Double Trouble and Cynder!!!!!!!!! And then afterwards I went to Target and I got Darklight Crypt!!! I am defiantly going again tomorrow!

just got the 3ds portal, its apparently a floosie in that it can work with any system using the included usb cable.
more specifically, it can replace my 6 hour battery life ps3 portal.
seriously, my damn smartphone lasts longer.

best part is that scalpers are buying up the 3ds pack to sell the individual figures, and they have lots of left over portals. i got this one for $11.50, over half of it was shipping

I have a DS portal too, but my XBOX won't recognize it and I did have to FIX it to make it work. Lots of DS portals only work when you hold a figure about 2 inches over the portal. I had to dissemble it and relocate the sensor coil to make it work, but now it's perfect. I use it when I play the online games.

On the way right now are the Crypt and Pirate sets. Which means Terrafin and Ghost Roaster.

I got soooo lucky on both. Crypt from gamestop.com only $24 shipped. Pirate from Amazon only $21 shipped (because of tax I get free shipping with Prime).

Never resort to the bay for common figures people!

I called Big W and they are holding onto a Empire of Ice for me which i will pick up tomorrow!
