I went by Toys R Us today and they were sold out. I asked one of the sales rep for the next shipment. She told me they already have a bunch in the back, and they were holding on to them for tomorrow's sale. The store wanted to make sure they were in stock when the sale hit!!

I'll be at Toys R Us @ 10AM tomorrow to hopefully complete my set!!!

So you buy a starter pack and get a Single Pack fig for free.

I would call first. The closest TRU to me stated that they didnt have any and wouldnt have any in for a while.

Typical TRU sale. Pay full price and get a cheap free item. Or, you could go elsewhere and pay $20 less for the starter pack, still get the figure (for only $8 mind you), and have an extra $12 in your pocket. Is it any wonder they are struggling mightily?

Is this in Canada? Aswell or just in the States

Found Skylanders for $49.99 at bestbuy on the 1/20/12 also gamestop has it for $49.99. Target,Walmart, is $69.99 and Toys r us has it for $54.99

Today's ad for Target is advertising it for $20 off, so $49.99 for all versions.
TRU surprisingly didn't have an ad in today's paper, so I guess the online version of the ad is the only mention of a sale there.

No luck in Cincinnati... Toys-r-us doesn't have any characters this morning and doesn't know when they will get them in.

No figures here in upstate NY @ TRU. Their "sale" is overpriced starter kit ($70) nets you a free figure from their current stock. Since they have no stock of figures, its not even a sale.

Our local Toys R Us got some in but none of the figures I am looking for unfortunately. :/

no figures in clarksville, in TRU this morning

One of the TRU in the area where im at ahs nothing out on shelve but is offering the frre figure with purchase of game system. the other on held its stock till this morning and is running the add and selling the singles, getting my 2 Cynders from them. ANd im in the quad city area of Illinois. neither one has EOI yet tho.

I went to the TRU this morning in Irving, TX and got the following

- Drill Sergeant
- Flameslinger
- Double Trouble
- Darkcrypt Adventure Pack

I was there at 10:30AM, and was told a large group of people showed up when the store opened and did their picking. I got the ones missing in our collection. When I was checking out, I glanced over at the skylander rack and saw a very overweight dad with his kid and a basket, then he proceeded to clean out the rest of the skylanders. I'd say there was probably 30 left until that guy showed up...

Afterwards I called all the TRU in the area, most had a selection but ones I already had... 3x packs, pirate adventure ship, boomer, etc...

I swear these scalpers need to get a life.

I still have a coupon for my Free Skylanders figure (and im supposed to get a 2nd one but I dont think theyre giving it to me >.>)
But I have all the Skylanders now because the TRU stock has been crap and I had to get Wave 3 from Gamestop...

Maybe i'll just buy doubles of some of my favorite figures so I can have them level up on the opposite training path...we'll see...

I've had 0 luck with Gamestop. In fact I called today and the guy said "Dude, we don't get shipments on Sundays" then hung up on me. All I need is 3 more and my collection is set until next month.

My collection came from Bestbuy, Target, and TRU.

Called about 5 TRUs today. One had singles in, and they had a bunch of older ones, but like.. A LOT of them. I picked up a Drobot with my free figure coupon so I didn't have to wait till it ran out and I also nabbed the Legendary Pack sign because they were nice to me haha

If you see one, just get it and save it. You can take it back at some later point to swap for another one, or you could sell it!
