I will make the beginning:
My free rented Skylander was Dark Spyro. He was my "most wanted" of the available Slylanders at this time cuz the 3DS game wasn't out in Germany yet when I started to play the webgame.

Which one did you chose?
And (if there's a reason) why?

Sonic Boom. I wanted to see if she was any good ;3 And she is.

You didn't back from the Magic menu? You can do it while choosing your free rent =)

Really? That's strange...in my memories Master Eon explained it how to unlock Skylanders and offered one to rent free...

Whirlwind

Ok. Yesterday I created a new account cuz my skyland on my other account was kina "broken".
This time I chose Drill Sergeant because I can't find him anywhere. So I can have him at least on the webgame.

I choose Sonic Boom because I liked the look of the character and I needed a wind one to break down the element pillars on the web game

Dark Spyro. I haven't played with him much, so he's still on at least 26 min. or something.

I got Legendary Chop Chop. I didn't know what I was doing at the time, and if I did, I would have gotten Spyro. I have the game now though, so I won't have to pay for Spyro on the game.

Whirlwind, since the others that are available I either already own or just not interested in.

I rented Ghost Roaster but only because it asks you to.

Honestly, I can't justify spending the coins on a character that you only actually get to play with for a very small time. Yeah it stays in your lair, but you can't use it so it's basically useless afterwards.

The only way I would have rented something was to complete the plant set so that I had a character of another element. But I finished getting one of each element before they started to become so scarce.

You can't spell Activi$ion without $. Everything in skylanders universe is pretty expansive and money grabbing

how do you rent a skylander for free? im new to the game/site so im still figureing it out, i STILL havnt figured out how to put my whole collection on there except for when they ask me to put a new character in. =/ and i cant even figure out how to put my portal onto the computer to add my actual skylanders to it. hmmmm

When you're first in your lair and you don't have a character on the portal. If you have a character on the portal in the Lair just click on them so they get off. Then you should have a browse button underneath the portal.

I can't remember who I rented, for Free. but I rented Cynder recently just so check out her emoticons.

I think my free Skylander might have been Dino-Rang because I wanted to buy him at the time. I've recently rented Cynder because I really want to buy her next but she's still not available in the UK yet.

I just rented Cynder for Free, shes pretty cool, though this is jsut barely a taste of what shes really like! lol

I wasnt thinking at the time... friends said he was awesome... so i chose ignitor. Then I got him registered. Should have chosen whirlwind or something.

Dino-Rang was who I thought my favorite would be at first glance, and he wasn't out yet at the time. Now he's just my favorite earth element and it's pretty close with Bash and Prism Break. Far behind Stump Smash, Ignitor, Stealth Elf, Voodood, Wrecking Ball, and Legendary Chop-Chop.

I chose as I wanted an undead Skylander in my ranks and he was the only one that really appealed to me as I was already going to get Cynder and Choppy but i wanted to try him out!
