I see others say that to others, and I think it's ignorant logic. Why can't adults or teenagers enjoy childish things?

It's some pretty naive logic. If it's something like Dora, yeah, I can understand. Spyro is for all ages (LoS isn't any exception).

Even though some games are made for certain ages, I don't really think there's an age limit to this kind of thing. If people call me a baby or whatever for playing Spyro, it doesn't bother me. It's part of my childhood and I can go back to it whenever I want, IMO.

I can spell, I think. And I hope that I have good grammar.

I'm too old for Spyro, but I love it so much, I can't just leave an awesome piece of memory behind, it's probably one of the most valuable things that I have left, apart from a couple of other small random things I still have from childhood. Like one video recording of me singing on the karaoke and then messing around with my Dad, pretending to fight each other, and then I just fall over laughing, great times.

"Too old for Spyro?"

I'm 52 and love all the console games.
Even "Enter The Dragonfly!"

When my Dad was in his 50's, about 30 years ago, his idea of "fun" was sitting in a bar getting plowed.

I'll stick with video games anyday, thankyewverymuch.

Don't plan on having kids.

But I AM showing my younger cousins Spyro.

I have a 6 year old boy who's obsessed with trains and literally talks nothing but trains. (Someone's so going to make a "I Like Trains" joke for this.)
I was actually surprised that he liked Spyro. Spyro's like... the only thing besides trains that catches his interests. o.o

Then I have my 4 year old cousin and she loves Spyro to death. Original/classic and Skylanders. Didn't show her TLoS. I think the concept of it wouldn't be good for her. Also don't feel like looking/re-buying games I don't like.

Both cousins mentioned above are brother and sister. I even taught them how to play the first Spyro the Dragon game. They tend to fight over the controller though... XD

I have two other cousins. Both boys. They watched me play A Hero's Tail and they pretended to be dragons for the rest of the day.

Then I have my little brother. Who's only like... 3. And he calls Spyro "The Dragon" and enjoys watching me play Skylanders and Classic.

So, i'm showing the younger generation Spyro already. 8) Quite pleased. Spyro's a cool character.

I'm 24 and will never outgrow Spyro! I talk to my co-workers here and there about when I get something new to add to my collectibles and I don't know if they think it's weird that I have so much Spyro specific stuff (probably) but I definitely haven't gotten any negative feedback from anyone ever. My family - parents, brothers, sister, nephew and friends all seem to like the little guy.

My old friends would actually kind of brag to their other friends when they were over about my hobby. It's definitely a good conversation starter and those friends more so than not have asked to see the collection. I remember one time a friend had his cousin over and she said something like, "OMG you really have Spyro toys!? I LOVED that game as a kid you have to show me your stuff!"

I'm thinking it's the immature (even adults) who feel self righteous enough to say that this is kids stuff. People have such a hard time respecting that some people like things that they don't....

I've had people make fun of me because i love Spyro: "Spyro the Gay Dragon"=PO rage; "Gay sexual fantasies"=now she just put herself over return to my friends list. There are others, but my memory is horrible.

My age will not change my love to play Spyro games, and nether will other's words.

Any game that doesn't have guns, realistic people and/or blood seem to be considered 'kiddy' nowhere days. Pokemon seems to be the only acception (at least to a degree. You would get stoned if you reveal you play Pokemon during middle school, but you will probably get the thumbs up if you reveal your secret to University and Elementary students).

You just need to ignore it.
