I sent an email to amazon asking why they are taking so long to ship the pre-orders and this is what they said:


"Hello,

I've checked your order and can confirm item is now back-ordered. I'm sorry about this delay--we certainly didn't expect this would happen.

I want to make sure your order gets to you faster once we have stock. To help make up for the delay, I've upgraded the shipping method to One-Day Shipping shipping at no extra charge. The new estimate for delivery is January 24, 2012 - January 31, 2012 .

Although the shipping method is faster, it'll still take some time to get the "Activision Skylanders Spyro's Adventure Triple Character Pack 6 ". As soon as we receive more stock, we'll ship your order and send you an e-mail to let you know."

Well that was really nice of them.

Yeah, I'd say that was expected; they're backordered. I've bought things online that are backordered sometimes till the end of the year. (Even though I buy them in June) so....

Same thing happened to me. I contacted them about why they were taking so long and they gave me a 5 dollar off coupon. smilie

They gave me a 10 off any item! I already had 1 day shipping! So.... I used it on gold chop chop.

I don't buy my Skylanders from amazon. I buy them from another website that is super cheap and free delivery on everything!

Oh but I am! They gave me 10 off since I already had 1 day shipping, and it was 2 items! Gold chop chop was 100 after discount.

My orders at Amazon (4 Cynders 3 Double Troubles) changed from not yet shipped to shipping soon. They even put a shipping date of tomorrow on there.

Mine changed to shipping soon as well. I can't wait to see the look on my Niece & Nephew's face when I bring them Cynder. Now I just wish I would have ordered the single pack's of Drill Sergeant, Whirlwind, & Double Trouble instead of the 3 pack. I have a feeling the 3 pack's will take longer than the singles.

Where did you find the email info to contact amazon? I ordered sonic boom and prism break.. Estimated delivery is tomorrow but the tracking says shipped 1/12 and status is a label was printed. Trying to figure out how it is going to get from Nevada to Indiana by tomorrow...grrrrr

Mine says @#%&*&^ feb 1st. same with EoI on @#%^&*& walmart.
