Hey gang, we found EOI at local walmart on 1/11/12. So, its out there. Happy hunting.

Edit: Also, some people have been talking about Slam Bam being molded in a "clear blue" base. I can confirm that, or at least that is how mine is.

Slam Bam is definitely in clear blue. There have been multiple pictures posted here showing it.

I tryed calling the walmart here and they were kind of rude about it. They said "no we dont have any skylanders and we cant order any" then they just hung up on me. Hope they start showing up around here soon

One time I asked an employee at the store they weren't even looking at me and all they said was" No we don't have any." So then I told them "Well can't you go check in the back?" Then they said "No we don't have any." Why are they so rude!?

I asked in TRU if they had some in the back and the lady actually did go and she found a box of wave 2.

I haven't found anything in California.

Walmart for some reason always has rude people working. I call target every morning and they always check the shelves and in back, and gamestop is always friendly as well, same with best buy. Maybe the people at walmart just get tired of being asked over and over?

You probably weren't the first, or even the fiftieth, person to ask the clerk this question. Checking the back is almost never worthwhile in the grand scheme, but EVERYONE expects you to do it for them. Three a day, for the same item, is my personal limit. If I don't find it after three trips to the back, forgive me if I don't see the need to continue wasting my time and yours. "I've been sent back for them several times already, and we are out. Sorry."

If that is the case I am fine with them not checking as long as they tell me that's why they arent checking. Its one thing to give a reason for not checking, but if someone just say "we dont have any in back" that just comes off as a little rude. For example I got a guy at target and asked if he had any in the back room. He told me "if it isnt on the shelf then we dont have any" i felt that was a bit rude. But if he had said "i chacked for another customer earlier and we dont have any" I would have completely understood without feeling like he blew me off

The Wal-Mart here in SC didn't have any skylanders at all besides starter packs. All Gamestop had was starter packs and one pirate seas adventure pack. My mom called Target and they said they were still sold out from Christmas and that they were waiting for the new ones to arrive, but didn't know when they'd be here.... So basically I have to hope that when they do come out, we'll get there before they're all sold out.

I missed EOI by a few hours. The local gamestop folks know me and they seemed genuinely upset to have to tell me it was gone. I left my number though and they said they'd call me if they got any other new things.

No I think they would probably be informed if they have any when my sister used to work at walmart they had "prep rallies" in the morning and then they would talk what would sell and stuff. If they had any and by the rate people are asking they would know in the morning the people are just fed up with people asking for them.

BB in Columbus, OH had 2 EoI two nights ago, Walmart had 4 last night. I snatched one at the BB, still searching for the new 3 pack and cynder tho. Those are all I have left to get after buying the 3ds starter for stealth elf and ignitor. The hunt is part of the fun, which is why i avoid ebay, but it is starting to border on tedious at this point.

I think that the people who have found Cynder are just employees taking boxes from their shipments.
