I've been trying to find an air character for the longest time. I don't even care which air character it is, I just want to have one of each element. (Not collecting the characters like everyone else)

So, with my luck, I found out that Whirlwind is a Target exclusive. Canada doesn't have any Targets. So that's one character down.
Lightning Rod and Warnado aren't released yet, I don't think. (I haven't seen any)

That leaves Sonic Boom the only character available in Canada. I haven't seen a single one for sale. Toys R Us say they have him in a 3 character pack, which is obviously sold out.

I even posted a wanted ad, saying I'd buy the single character for $25. No one is biting.

Boo Canada.

What is the most you've paid for a character?
Which character did you have the hardest time finding?

Sonic Boom can be hard to find, though she is available in a 3-pack now, so she should be showing up more. Whirlwind will be available everywhere sometime this January, so hopefully you find one soon!

The most I have paid for a character is roughly $15 for Whirlwind off ebay. I had the hardest time finding Stealth Elf and Wrecking Ball.

Whirlwind was hard to get and I got her for 25 bucks on eBay. Ebay's good for everything. Try that.

Stealth Elf has been hard to find in stores but I found 1 at TRU and got it for a friend. I know that in January they will release Drill Seargent and Whirlwind as non Exlusives, so you might have to wait.

I'm seeing Whirlwind being sold for $30+ on Amazon and eBay. My mom refuses to let me pay that much for a character. (Plus the shipping fees)

I just looked on Amazon for Sonic Boom, and she's being sold for $17+, which isn't bad, I suppose. I think I'll just keep harassing Toys R Us to find out when they restock, and I'll just get the 3 pack for $20.

I want a Stealth Elf, too. So once I get the 3 pack, I'll get two characters that I want.

At TRU here in New Mexico, they have tons of Stealth Elf 3 packs.

Yes, I know us Canadians got the short end of the stick ....with regards with the "air element" We have no Targets so are only option was Sonic boom and she was sooo hard to find. I got lucky and found one at Toys R us one day then another for my Mom's husband at Future shop!!! E-bay and other places want so much cash!!!!

That is why I am really surprised that they are not releasing another air character soon???
Wondering if this is a marketing strategy or just a huge over look on their part????

^ I think that triple pack, ( Double Trouble, Whirlwind and Drill Sergent) might be hard to find! Hope not for people who need air!

But for whirlwind, try Ebay. That's where i got BOTH Whirlwind and Drill Seargent for 25 bucks. From, ironiclly a vendor in canada.

It better not be hard to find! I'm refusing to play the game until I have one air character in my possession.

I looked in every store possible. (Future Shop, Best Buy, EBGames, Toys R Us, WalMart) and they have a TON of Boomer characters, as well as the Dark Crypt packs. I have not once seen a Stealth Elf or a Sonic Boom.

Yesterday at WalMart they had a lot of Wrecking Balls. But I didn't bother purchasing it.

The characters I do have are all lame.

Spyro, Stump Smash, Chop Chop, Bash, Flameslinger, Eruptor, Gill Grunt, Drobot, Trigger Happy.

Of the ones you have, Trigger Happy, Drobot, and Spyro are quite good. But still try ebay as the air charecters are sought after due to their awesome power ingame.

I went to go buy Whirlwind at Tesco and there were none out on display so I asked a member of staff if they had any in the back and they did so she brought me one out

I have had no problems finding Skylanders that I want.

i know how you feel! every time i go to walmart, sonic boom is ALWAYS sold out in canada!!!

Didn't know people could get THAT confused over it.

At the moment, I'm having a hard time finding any characters, as they have all sold out where I live in 5 different shops.

C1nder, Try asking the manager, finding out when a shipment is comin, then come at opening that day.

We've asked the shops if they'd be getting them in anytime soon, and they said that they had ordered them, but it's taking a while to arrive. We've been checking everyday XD

I went to my local Target to find Darklight Crypt so I did what I mentioned before and it worked.

Hey where in canada do you live?

I live in oshawa ontario canada. And at our future shops there are TONS of every skylander character i was there today. They are 9.99 But they have every single one that is out. Maybe try a future shop in your area Most people don't even know that future shop even sells them Cause they don't advertise them really even being there.
Anyone know why that is?

where i am sonic boom is easy to find and whirlwind isnt in any of my stores either i got it of Ebay

If I still can't find her, then I'm going to have to wait for that 3 pack. D:

Well, if you don't have drill Seargent the 3 pack would be mostly beneficial

for me the hardest was dino rang =S but i got him now lol =) i hope you find sonic boom.. hes cool but not the greatest
