I have a silver-faced Ignitor -

[User Posted Image]

However, until I see pics, I simply cannot believe a silver Ignitor exists. By all means, post a pic of him.

EDIT: And I must say, I have to have looked at about a total of 100 3DS copies of the game since launch, and I still haven't run across another silver-faced Ignitor. Unless, you meant your Ignitor looks like mine, in which case, I'd still love to see a pic.

I probably wouldn't buy them off the internet if I saw them, they go for tonnes of money on ebay. If I saw them in a shop them I would buy them, but I would want a normal one as well.
As for the translucent ones, I wouldn't buy those of the internet either. IMO, they look pretty horrible. Still, If I saw them in shops I would buy them. But again, I would want a real one aswell.

Man this sucksWhu don't alot of people from the states only sell to the states on ebay there are like 10 give or take silver erupters that i can't bid on because i don't live in the states And there is only 1 erupter i can bid on from aus and it's already over 100 bucks
Why is this anyone know?

This sucks all i need is silver erupter to complete my silver skylander set and i bet i'll never find them heck i'd pay up to 70 possibly 80 bucks for him if someone has him but i will not go over 80 dollars it''s just too much

But i guess i should be thankful that i found the other 2 and only had to pay 9.99 for each. But still i really would like to get silver erupter

Send a message to the EBay sellers asking if they will ship to Oz - that's what I did for all of the silver figurines I bought. Most will say yes when you say that you will cover shipping. I advise that you mention that from prior experience, you have paid $15 for shipping, including packaging costs - that way you sound more knowledgable and experienced.

I don't exactly understand this part (I advise that you mention that from prior experience, you have paid $15 for shipping, including packaging costs - that way you sound more knowledgable and experienced) So just tell them i live in canada and i have done this before and normally pay 15 shipping? and they should do it

Sorry, I thought you lived in Australia. Canada should be cheaper than that.

I would simply tell them that you are prepared to pay for shipping and it is only to Canada. You could mention that shipping would be no more than $15 as someone from Oz convinced a few sellers to ship there and that is what it cost (including packaging).

I can even PM you the names of sellers I used, in case they have others for sale? Those sellers have a precedence in shipping to outside USA, even when originally not intending to.

Thanks for the advise i have one person already letting me bid

But in case i don't win it sure i'll take those just in case you never know and since i did find 2 of them i don't mind paying a bit more for the last one
Just wondering did you find any of yours or did you buy them online?
and if you did find them which ones and where?
Thanks again

I don't think anyone has a snowball's chance of finding a silver one here in Australia.

I ended up buying all three silver variants from different sellers on EBay; none of them originally offered shipping outside of USA.

In hindsight, instead of posting an image of all three in three threads, you could have had a shot of each and referenced the other threads in each message - made it sort of like a trail. Hehe!

The Silver/Gold variants seem a bit...pointless to me. I can understand the hoohah over the legendary variants since they have a gorgeous paint job and appear with said colours in the game itself, but these are just normal figures with the base mold coated with silver/gold instead of the normal, full paint job. Screams laziness, in my view.

It's mainly just for collecting purposes. Every indication of this seems like Activision knew adults would enevitably be collecting these with their children (or on their own) and knew that adults LOVE rare things in line.

Just about every single thing that's released for collecting purposes has some sort of rare or special item. Pokemon had crystal figures, Hot Wheels has Treasure Hunts, PEZ has crystal dispensers, action figure lines have clear figures, etc
