To be fair each Spyro is a different character personally.

I like to think the Spyro we know was a lone wolf who through have romance there and now would always be the adventurer never settling down.

Thats just your opinion. It doesn't mean that people have agree with only that. I personally Like Cynder AND Elora.

Spyro x Elora at least is something different and it isn't just plain boring (meaning dragon x dragon, such as, I dunno, Spyro x Cynder?).

Really, dragon x dragon is cool, but why not try something different and not overused?

Dragon x dragon is too cliche and boring, especially if it was completely rushed (SxC).

Spyro x Elora is at least a little different and could have some real interesting ideas.

If it's all going to be just the same species x same species (such as dragon x dragon), it's going to get kinda boring. It's alright, but honestly I'd personally like to try something different and a bit unpredictable.

I can't tell you how many examples there are of that.

Dragon x dragon can be found in:
- all couples in the Age of Fire series
- Draco x the second-to-last dragon in Dragonheart
- Spyro x Ember, Whirlwind, Cynder or every fan character I've ever seen
- every dragon in furry fandom

By contrast, dragon x anything else is nigh nonexistant. Saying Spyro x Elora is wrong just because she's a faun is the fantasyland equivalent to saying a black woman and a white man can't marry because they're different colors; it's just silly.

Speaking of Spyro/Elora, theirs is the only relationship in the series that's actually had anything built up around it. She's the only person to ever kiss him, she did something nice to try and make up for the trouble he was in (gave him a mini-vacation), and she's given him at least two chances to be with her but seems to always leave it up to him. By contrast, Ember seems to be stalking him (and lost interest canonically in favor of Bandit the armadillo), while Cynder has only ever hung around Spyro for selfish or potentially nefarious reasons (she outright betrayed him at least twice). In-game, there's just as much evidence (if not more) for Cynder x Sparx as there is for Cynder x Spyro. I could see them growing up to be friends, yes, but never lovers or mates.
