Classic Spyro is essentially a less detailed version of Sonic, in terms of personality. A lot of Classic Spyro characters have a Sonic equivalant.

I see what you mean... Ember is Amy, Sparx is tails, Bianca is cream, Hunter is Knuckles, I think Flame is Shadow, and the rest of the crazy talking animal characters have matches, too. The battle could establish Spyro as the more epic of the two

You mean Rouge? Yeah, maybe. But Shadow ALWAYS wants to kill Sonic.

Cynder seems more like Sally to me.

Bianca is nowhere near like Cream, Hunter is nowhere near like Knuckles and Flame is nowhere near like Shadow.

Flame is more like Silver or Jet. Don't know about Hunter, and Bianca seems to be similar to Wave.

Flame is like Tails, as he looks up to Spyro, just like how Tails looks up to Sonic.

Silver is like LoS Spyro, as both have a strong sense of justice, and both were led on their respective quests by another character (In Spyro's case, Ignitus, in Silver's case, Mephiles)

Cynder makes me think of Blaze more than anyone else, as they both have confidence in their abilities, and both have a bit of a superiority complex, and both kind of "lose their way".

Bianca is most like Wave, as DC said, but is still a bit of an obscure comparison. Bianca is probably the character who has the least similarities to Sonic characters, IMO.

I guess Sally and Elora are a fitting comparison.

Mephiles and Malefor are very similar. Both are powerful, dark beings, and both of them try to mess with the heads of the protagonists.

Classic Hunter and Knuckles actually are pretty similar, when you think about it. Both of them are strong, both of them have a rivalry with the main hero, both of them were apprehensive when they first heard of the main hero, both of them are gullible and easy to deceive, both of them are treasure hunters, and both of them are easier to frighten than most of the characters in their series (at least, this is the case with the more modern Knuckles).

So the personalities of the characters in Classic Spyro are influences from Sonic? If so, then that's quite interesting. Also, do you think LoS Hunter is like Knuckles?

^I'll just say they are similar. I won't say "infuences" because there is no proof that they intentionally made them similar to Sonic characters. It could just be a coincidence.

It's also worth noting that Bianca from Spyro existed long before Wave from Sonic did.

As for the rest of them, it was either the Sonic character came long before the Spyro character, or the characters on both sides came around the same time (I believe this is the case with LoS Spyro and Silver, anyway).

If I may say somthing, he pose for Spyro (2 I think) on the Jappense version resembles a pose that Sonic makes from time to time

Also the scence where destoryer is coming out of the volcano reminds of Iblis for some reason

Just a few things, ANB Spyro and TEN Spyro remind me more of Silver then DotD Spyro. If anything, DotD Spyro reminds me of Shadow. Seeing as how DotD Spyro had a darker personality, Malfore was kind of his darker 'shadow'. Ignitus died leaving Spyro at state of depression. Just In my Opinion.

Which version of Cynder are we talking about here? Krome? If so then yes, Cynder is alot like Blaze.

Ambience is background noise. It is actually the non usage of real instruments in techno that make me resent it with a hateful passion.

I hate mainstream techno, with all the silly lyrics and all to it.

But I have heard great techno music in movies and video games (such as the Classic remixes in Sonic Generations... )

Ouch. I love Ambience. TBH, the fact that it's background noise might be the reason I like it. It provides for a great soundtrack for sitting on the roof and counting the few stars you can see due to the city lights. Then again, my tastes in music are strange.

Ambience is background noise, but rap is usually a mix of noises that don't belong in the form that they're placed.

I like ambient music too. But more the "New Age Orchestral" type, as opposed to one with a techno feel to it.

^Exactly how I feel as well. You should check out Wait For Me (Ambient) by Moby. Maybe you'll like it.
