Yes.

I was initially going to get the Wii and 3DS versions, but I'm now going to stick with 3DS by itself due to a lack of money.

When I was younger I played on the Game Boy Pocket, Color and Advance, I honestly didn't play with them for that long, probably about a year for each one, a little longer for the Advance, but still in the end I realised that it is really wasn't worth it for me, I prefer to see a game on a bigger screen, better sound quality, it's much easier on my eyes, it's perfect on a gaming console. Handheld gaming is now useless for me, and I don't even bother with handheld games now.
