This was a pitch to bring spyro into a fairy tale setting.

This has been brought up before. But still, I would have liked to have seen this come to fruition. It looks like it would have been a delightful little game.

Although, one of the things that got canceled was the TLoS movie. I'm personally quite happy that got canceled.

Ditto. Anyone lese hear of "Prime Ape" (or whatever it's called), a cancelled spin off Spyro game based on a modified Agent 9?

As for Spyro: Ever After, it sounded like it would be an interesting game, but sadly, it never got off the ground. smilie

Same here. I knew the canceled Spyro movie will suck just because they got the guy who was the producer of Eragon to do it. And I've heard that was a terrible movie and my brother said that it was a huge rip-off of Star Wars after he saw it years ago.

No I mean Directors and stuff won't make movies unless they know it's going to work. Yknow? That's what every Director will think about when making a movie. And I'm saying that a Spyro movie would be good if they could make it work. It's difficult to explain. smilie

Very interesting. Never saw this before! Hmm, with careful reading, it mentions that this pitch was supposed to be an educational game with Spyro in it. Spyro + fairy tale adventure + education? A very interesting proposed direction; or interesting IP usage.

I wonder what prompted the cancellation of the project.

The helmeted creature looks pure Rhynoc to me, it lacks many of the features a Gnorc would have.

Not sure if the style appeals to me or not. :/
