I'd rather have an ordinary comic of Spyro.

A lot of people prefer manga.

as far as I know Spyro wasn't really popular in Japan (as Crash was),so there isn't really a reason for them to make a Spyro manga...a western comic on the other hand would fit better and makes more sense,although its kinda late already and Spyro isn't as popular like he was back in the days...so I can see only fancomics happening...

Manga is pretty popular in the US.

I think it is here too in the UK, although I don't really care about it.

I think Classic Spyro would be awesome for an anime.

There actully isn't any pictures of it online, it's that rare! Crystalfissure is going to scan it in though, so I will let you all know when he does

I wouldn't mind finding out if there's any sort of official manga-ish supplements to Spyro 1. I know there was a manual thing that sort of did that, but still.

Edit: Oh derp, that guy who did the Spyro 2 guide review also did Spyro 1.

He needs to do the Crash 3 guide with Baby T on the cover, so I can printscreen it for avatars. :3

Not all... one example is Happy Happy Clover which is a children's manga with little drama and more of a kid aimed story. Not every anime/manga is about a dramatic story.

This is very true, I know quite a few that are more kiddy than dramatic.

I don't know any Manga at all, I never read it.

Pretty much every manga gets an anime later one, so if Spyro would to have a manga, then it will more then likely get anime as well later on.

I think a comic would be better.

Classic Spyro would be great for an Anime or Manga, because there are all kinds of crazy talking animal characters, and not in a child-like way. I'd be OK as long as Disney never gets a hold of it. I am a big fan of Anime and Manga, such as Naruto and Pokemon(Oh you know you play the RPG, too!), and I would watch a Spyro Anime. Maybe it would help get the younger generation into the Spyro fanbase, because most of the fans are people like us who played them as they came out. And all the younger generation knows is Skylanders Spyro, and maybe TLOS Spyro, but alot of them haven't gotten to see the classics.

I don't see the problem with an anime DarkCynder. I do agree that Classic Spyro as an anime would be a good way to get the originals back in the mainstream. I have been working on some body part designs and I will have my friend scan them and send me the scans eventually. It's a pretty good idea IMO. I've got the idea to work on Spyro 2 first then the others.

I personally would like to see a Classic Spyro manga/anime. Upbeat, random, colorful, etc.

I predict TLoS manga/anime would be too predicable, boring, and dramatic. Also, let's not forget that damn SxC romance as well.

Yes, the war that will never be finished, to Cynder or not to Cynder. It would be best to leave it out to prevent feuding. And, yes it does seem predictable, the story is already layed out. With the original, its kind of a mix and match system. Take spyro, one breath or multiple breaths, Whichever colorful world you want, and whichever crazy talking animal villain you want. It's an absolutely beautiful system.

I know, CynderxSpyro and not CynderxSpyro are things that shouldn't be discussed here, it's to desputed. I thikn that Classic Spyro would be best for a manga as well. The plot has a basic skeleton and that's it plot wise. I'm pretty good at making things unexpected.
